Personal statement
I have worked in several event management activities. I have learnt a lot while working
in the event industry. These have helped me to manage the development of various skills and
abilities. As I am having interest in event planning and development, it is my duty to manage the
work and attain goals in less time. By organising successful events, it is important for me to
develop my career (Higgins-Desbiolles, 2018). There is need of enhancing career growth by
having new ways to manage the functions and activities. There is need of managing and
developing new skills to manage the work properly.
Reflection
I have been a very good leader while my job tenure. It is analysed by me that I have been
working very hard for attaining the goals and objectives. There is need to prepare a proper plan
that will be helpful for developing new ways to manage the challenges of business environment.
It is essential for me to enhance the skills so that I can work in a more better manner. There is
need to evaluate and analyse different scenarios and manage the functioning so that there is no
problem while working upon various organisational challenges. I have concluded that working
for the organisation will lead me to enhance my career opportunity. I am a very confident person
but sometimes I am emotional too. I think if a person is emotional, it is not a bad thing. I have to
control and manage my emotions and this has to be my biggest opportunity. I have been
working and using my abilities to highest. While working at my office, I used to help others if
they needed any help ( Li, Conrado, and Vermeeren, 2017). Few subordinates within the event
planning were not able to focus upon their work. I helped them to manage their work and attain
the goals in less time. I have had a great experience at different events. These have encouraged
me to understand and develop new skills and abilities to manage the happening of successful
events. There is need to manage time as well as goal attainment. It helps in developing new skills
that will help to learn ways for attaining organisational goals. It is really important to manage the
functioning of business activities and events in proper manner. I used to work in different event
companies and grabbed new experience. I have to grow my career in event planning companies.
For the hosting of an event at various areas, it is essential for me to manage various resources,
manpower and facilities. I have analysed proper way of conducting the activities in such a
manner that goals are attained. For any track meet, I have used my whole skills and abilities to

conduct the events. I have analysed the plan and procedure that will lead to manage the
attainment of goals. There is need to evaluate and discuss different ways to manage the event and
have success in working. I have worked a lot for attaining the goals and objectives assigned to
me. I have prepared a proper timeline in which I have to manage the functioning of whole task.
There is a proper plan developed in a manner that goals are accomplished in less time. Upon the
reflection, it is analysed by me that working as the position of event manager is not an easy task
an I have to develop new skills that will help in working in effective manner. I have analysed
new ways to develop and prepare plans to attain the goals (Martínez-Ortega, Rodríguez-Molina,
and Zhai,2020). I have seen that working as the event manager was not easy and I have to
develop new strategies and plans for maintaining the work ability. This is analysed that for
being an event manager, it is important to be creative and planner. This will help me to manage
the work in proper manner. I have helped a lot of people during the event planning. This has
helped me to manage the work properly and attain goals. It is essential for me to manage the
work and enhance the event planning scenarios. I have been involved in planning and setting the
marketing plans that will be helpful in development of interpersonal skills. It has been analysed
that when people are working together, this is seen that they are able to manage the working in
proper manner. In context of the event industry, I have seen that there is need to manage the
personal skills so that work is done in proper manner (Savitt, 2020). I have thought that I will
prepare a LinkedIn profile that will contain information about my skills. This will help me to get
the new and more appreciable job role. As the event manager, it is analysed that working is more
interesting if the person is having good energy and enthusiasm. It is concluded that proper
planning and development is needed for completing the tasks. There are several important
documents that have to be managed in order to complete the work process and tasks. There are
several appointments and meetings which I ave organised before starting the progress of plan.
There is need to manage the effectiveness of planning process so that work is completed in
effective manner. As the event manager, I have analysed that working in event planning is
essential to conduct successful events. I have analysed that it is essential for me to manage the
working in proper manner so that goals and objectives are attained in proper manner. For a
successful event, it is important for me to manage the functioning properly. I have to make the
best use of all resources.

From the development program and planning, I have analysed that I can enhance my skills by
adopting the following techniques -
Conferences and seminars: This is known as an essential approach that is involved in the
planning of self learning various ways to organise a successful event. This will help to manage
and develop new ways to attain the goals. This will lead to manage new ways and ethical
functioning of the business. It is useful for attaining goals and managing to complete the
organisational objectives in less time frame. It is analysed by me that I can manage the working
in proper manner by following different ethical issues.
Social networks: by using different social networking sites, I can manage the self awareness as
well as knowledge for completing the work (Wolfe and Werhane, 2017). This can be helpful for
attaining the goals in less time. This is concluded that I can be able to manage the work and task
properly by working in effective manner. This can be essential for controlling and managing the
work. If I want to acquire information and overcome their concerns, I can also use social
networking sites. Through this in allotted hours, they will also attain their goals. The mechanism
for designing action plans on the principles of various factors such as knowledge, beliefs,
contemplation, target setting and preparation for personal growth is known as personal
development planning.

Scientific management theory- This theory has been introduced by Taylor where
according to his point of view it has been identified that if organisation want to attain its high
performance along by maintaining standards in order to increase the efficiency of workforce so
that they would be able to attain the desire goals and objectives.
I have used the transformational leadership style in order to achieve the desire goals and
objectives on time which is beneficial for my growth as well as for the growth of the
organisation.
Transformational leadership style- This leadership style has been introduced by James
MacGregor in late 1970s with the motive to help the business organisation in attaining success in
this changing business environment. With the use of transformational leadership style the leader
would be able to prove proper directions and motivate the employees so that they focus on their
performance and improve it. With the help of effective team the business operations become
easy to performance and desire results are achieved.
Among different theories which of them is more suitable for the you in context of the chosen
industry.
Ethics is important in the business environment as it helps in developing positivity in the
organisation and also help in accomplishing the desire results and objectives. From my point of
view transformational theory of leadership is the best way to focus on ethnical way of carry the
business operations. This help me in managing the work in most effective manner as activities
are performed in the smoothly manner without any difficult as employees are more focused to
carry the operations in most effective and ethical manner. I would able to provide right direction
to employees so that on the bases of their experience they would be able to deal with the business

problems on their own and it helps in reducing the extra work load and I get the time to think
most effective in order to develop effective strategies.
Conclusion
From the above study, professional and personal analysis is necessary for an individual. It is
essential for preparing a good planning for hitching new events (Matli, Hesselberg, and Nielsen,
2019). This requires effective preparation and planning to manage the reactive and adaptive
scenarios of events. It is important that checking proper analysis and evaluation is important as
it helps to manage the working in effective manner.
