3TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND EXECUTIVE KIDNAPPING
Transformational leadership is an active employee as well as leadership chain, both leaders and
employees by making sure that each one of them gets motivates with one another and reach the
hierarchy of higher level of the chain. A leader identifies the threat of its employees not only
internally but externally as well. A leader’s primary motive is to look after the wellbeing of the
organisation as well as of its employees. A transformation leadership ensures that the safety is
maintained. A leader is a body to whom an employee can communicate his problem and arrive at
a suggestion if a solution not possible (Decker et al.2018).
Disadvantages of transformational leadership:-
A transformation leader always motivates the employee to stop achieving and focusing on its
personal goals rather than start focusing on moral goods as an achievement towards the team. A
transformational leader qualities take place in terms of organisations culture and therefore fails to
understand to lead into a different path that is kidnapping. Kidnapping is an act of criminal
offence, which is not a part of transformation leadership in solving this particular issue.
Although, this case of executive crime is a part of corporate threat (Johnson et al. 2017).
Recommendations:-
A transformational leadership should understand the nature of the external environment towards
its employees and business firm rather than focusing on only the positive and internal facts of the
situation. A leader is one who possesses the vision, and the leaders should understand the extent
of liability that relies upon its employees. Understanding its employee’s value and providing
safety facilities while the employee is within the working hours is a step towards the prevention.
Employee safety schemes are to be introduced and should be given much focus for modification
of the present plans. A leader should understand the reason behind such kidnapping cases and
