Strength and Weaknesses
Leadership defines the ability of an individual or an organization to supervise the
individuals, teams, and entire organization (Western, 2019). The main strength of my leadership
skills is that I always try to appreciate my team members for their work in order to motivate them
for their performances. Appreciation is my one of the skills that helps me to build the strong
relation with the team members. Apart from it, I also supervise the team in order to improve the
performance by guiding them towards their work. Supervision is my other skill as a strength that
helps me to grow in my future.
The main weakness that I found in my leadership skills is that I am not able to resolve the
conflict just because of lack of patience. It is a fact that patience is important factor for a leader
especially in terms of resolving conflict. Communication is also a major factor that a leader
should have to coordinate the team but communication skills as a leader is not too strong due to
which team work has been affected.
Expansion Planning
I would like to use my strong skills in order to improve the weakness for future growth. I
want to become an inspiring leader in future that I can do by improving my skills through this
course. I would like to coordinate my team with the different techniques to improve the
performance (Antonakis, and David, 2017). Apart from it, this course helps me to share my
knowledge with the other team members.
