SELF-REFLECTION
Forming
At the group formation stage, I feel really excited because I have been assigned with the
work responsibility and concerned authority as well for completing the given task successfully. I
broke the ice through interacting with the other group members, more importantly, group in-charge
to overcome the uncertainties about my job roles and group role. It clarify my job role and made me
confident about what exactly I have to do. Other group member played a leading role by clarifying
the roles, guiding and supporting the other members. It encouraged me to improve my leadership
skills and the participative leadership style develop collaborative working practice in myself. If in
future, I will have an opportunity to create a group then I will definitely allocate work as per the
interest and specification of the team members.
Storming
I played a people-oriented role by team-worker, in which, I put my best efforts and also co-
operate and co-ordinate with the others for the successful completion of the targets. I properly listen
other group member ideas/suggestions and analyse the same to create my own opinion without any
biasness (Ayduk and Kross, 2010). I also put my suggestions and all the other members valued it
as they gave their positive opinion on the same which make me really happy. In contrast, few of the
members were disagree with my ideas and I resolved such arguments by providing them proper
justification that how my idea can be successful. I would create a familiar and healthier
environment in the team in every member will be allowed to put their advices and suggestions
freely.
Norming
During this stage, I was responsible to complete the assigned tasks and responsibility,
collaborating and cooperating with other co-workers and present ideas and suggestions. I was happy
with these responsibilities because I have been allocated with my own-interested field. During the
presentation, no-doubt, I experienced team-spirit, in which, everyone put their great efforts to
complete the allocated duties and also co-ordinate with the others (Lysaker and et.al., 2013).
Familiar relationship strengthens the bonding among all members which allowed me to express my
own opinion, feelings, ideas and suggestions as well.
Performing
Effective & collaborating team-working practices executed the functioning very well. The
main difficulty that I encountered is that during the practical work, modifications in task structure &

manifestation to allocate new tasks caused several difficulties and confusion also in the teams, still,
positive attitude encouraged myself to accept challenges for the growth (van der Meer and et.al.,
2010). I did not interfere with my own responsibilities, and at the point, when I experienced any
difficulty, discussion with the co-workers, their assistance, guidance and leaders support helped me
to overcome the same.
Adjourning
In a team, implementation of my own ideas practically made me extremely happy, confident
and highly motivated and was the best experience. However, some times, few of the team workers
negatively respond on the same which was my worst experience.
