Apple Inc is one of the suitable examples wherein the co-founder Steve Jobs return to
the organization in the month of July, year 1997. It was marked as the beginning of the
resurrection of Apple and after twelve years of the financial loss, Gil Amelio was being
ousted from the position of CEO (Businessinsider.com, 2020). The company was totally
bankrupt wherein Steve Jobs returned and he was capable of taking interim position and he
was being tasked with the major restructuring of the company as a whole for improving and
bringing the effectiveness of the company as a whole (Wackernagel et al., 2019).
Answer to Question 2
In the last few years, the main trend which is being noticed is the fact that there is
steep drop in the yearly raise in the salary and increase of the variable income each year.
There has been high increase in the bonuses for the different occasions which improved the
morale of employees and their performance as a whole (Wackernagel et al., 2019).
There has been end of the annual reviews as the main employees are millennials who
prefer the systematic feedback process is the vital element which needs to be implemented. In
such scenario, there are quarterly performance reviews taking place which is capable of
making the employees satisfied.
In the future, there are different other aspects which can be taking place in the HR
field are as follows:
Firstly, the in-house HR will be downsizing, and there will be increase in the
outsourcing as there are many businesses which are capable of better technology or more
self-service reliant (Groeneveld & Steijn, 2016).

Moreover, strategic kind of thinking will be the new core competence of HR that will
