INTRODUCTION
Leadership is considered as the ability which is undertaken by the organisation so that to
lead people in such a way that overall business objectives can be acquired. The major purpose of
leadership is to render support to individual so that they can be motivated and at the same time
they can manager their given roles and responsibilities in easy manner. In other terms this can be
said that leadership is one of the method which is used in order to provide guidance to employees
so that they can perform in the better manner (Pudyaningsih, Dwiharto and Ghifary, 2020). The
role of leadership is related with examining goals for the team member so that confidence level
can be boosted and at the same time they can implement different strategies to acquire business
objectives. For an organisation this is imperative that to have effective leadership so that
business objectives can be catered and at the same time right path can be provided to employees.
The current research report is based on examining role of leadership in retaining employees so
that the research is of high use for different organisations.

According to Bratton, (2020), of leadership is defined as the ability to lead people or
group of people in such a way that organisational mission can be aligned and attained in
collaborative manner. Leadership is the process which is used for the purpose of influencing
people so that they can directed in the direction of attaining business objectives in cohesive and
coherent manner. Leaders carry out different attributes with themselves so that motivation can be
rendered within the organisational employees and their skills can be used in managing all the
aspects of the organisation.

According to Anitha, (2016), leaders within the organisation are associated with

organisation so that overall business edge can be established.
