The name of the fictional firm is XYZ Accounting firm. This firm has been set up 2years
back and is devoted to providing proper auditing services to all the organizations that seek their
help. However, as this is a very new set company there are many changes that have to be
brought. In other words, many improvements have to be done for the overall welfare of the
organization. As it is a very new firm, the management is facing several issues in managing the
employees in a proper and sound manner. The purpose of this report is mainly to use the
leadership influence on the organizational set up of this accounting firm. It is the leaders who
have to bring the necessary changes and lead the firm in a better way towards the bright and the
flawless future1.

The first aspect about the leadership that has to be carried on in the firm is strategic and
organizational leadership. The leaders must have the coaching and the mentorship ability. In
other words they must follow the method of constant improvement. This is because the rules and
the regulations of accounting are often very complicated and need many years of training. It is
for this reason that the employees working there need to have a very clear knowledge about the
accounting rules and laws. This is very necessary because the training and the coaching of all the
employees are very essential.
A strong sense of ethics is a must in the leaders of this XYZ Accounting firm. This is
because the prior work of this firm is to do the accounting and the auditing for many other
organizations. They cannot afford to make any mistakes in it. They also have to be ethically
correct on all grounds. Ethics is one of the most important aspects of an accounting firm. The
leaders have to teach the importance of ethics to his followers through his own practices. He has
to show that he tries to stay true to the ethics and he is honest in all his endeavors2.
