INTRODUCTION
Operation management is is mainly concerned with the designing, controlling, structuring
of the system that is used for the manufacture of commodity and services. It involves
administration of the entire business activity so that the maximum profit can be earned.
Operation management is the term which is widely used within the business for managing the
people, data, technology so that the business operations can be carried in the most suitable
manner. The assignment is based on the chosen association that is Corus which is the part of Tata
steel company dealing in the manufacturing and producing of steel. This study covers different
role and characteristic of manager and leaders along with the use of various theories and
approaches of leadership. Furthermore the report also helps in understanding various central
conceptualization to the concept of operation management and its importance in operation
management so that the objective of the enterprise can be achieved. At last the study also assess
the component of concern environment which effect the conclusion devising of the leader and
