Health and social care industries mostly use
democratic leadership style. Because it is helping to
provide a delegation chance for all the staff and the
employees in the company. There are several other
styles which are listed below:
Autocratic or Authoritarian style: HSC can
use this theory when it has short time to
complete the tasks as the authority is centralised.
Democratic Style: This can be used by HSC to
involve its member such as employees in
decision making process.
Laissez-faire style: In this type leader also
playing an active role in the group. So HSC can
use it to have more leaders who are expert in
problem solving.
Health and social care companies it is difficult to identify the right way to
work like a team
Always say “Thank You” and “Please”. Need to know supervisor or manager satisfied about employee work. The employee should aware of the protocols. Need to get an understanding of the colleagues in the company. Problem solving in a coordinated way.
I am working very actively at HSC. But sometimes I get stressed when
I have heavy load of work. Then I discuss my issue with management
they give me several solutions which are as follows:
Exercise regularly to bear these types of situations.
They told me to get healthy and nutritious foods when I face
stressful situation. This diet consists of fruits, water, grains
and vegetables.
Avoid drugs and other addicted things.
They also said to get better sleep to recover stress. Stress also
can reduce by talking with co-workers in the company. Stress
also can minimize by taking a small break in the stress
situation.
These stress management strategies are very helpful for me to manage
my stress in the workplace by which I can improve my professional
and personal life. I have learned it from my working place as I work in
a HSC organisation.
