INTRODUCTION
Leadership is the ability to influence people around the workplace and motivate them for the
betterment of the company. Leadership theory seek to elaborate the how and why certain people
become leader and not everyone. The report includes the information about leadership theory and
management theory and their organizational structure in related to merger with another firm.
The need for them is great, and they also arise in the company for the betterment of the company.
These type of leader possess the natural attributes of their own. Company can apply this in their
new merger company for the betterment of the company and to achieve the goals of the
company.
MAIN BODY
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT THEORY
Leadership theory evaluate the qualities of the good leader and analyse and develop person
towards the leadership and management theory (Su, 2017). Leadership aspects include the
personal traits of a person and their action and environment. Three leadership and management
theory that describe below that help company to resolve the issue in the management and
leadership (Cole, 2018).
The great man theory
The great man theory states that some people are born talented and great with their attributes and
behaviour. Great man theory centralized these points that can be used in the company is
processing the traits of the organization and lead them towards the achievement.
Behavioural theory
Behaviour theory indicates the ideal of the leadership that describe by the great leaders and
encourage everyone to participate in the organization work. This theory is a flip side of the great
man theory. This theory understands the employee behaviour and leader treat them and motivate
them in order to achieve the work. Behavioural theory highly relevant in the various fields to
coordinate with the employee of the company.

Several types of behavioural theory is it is people oriented theory and task oriented that identify
the sound leaders to manage these things for the employees and coordinate with them. Company
should apply this theory in their company to make their company achieve their goals and
objectives that they aim to. These aims and objectives include the expectation of performance
from their worker and their productivity towards the organization. The behavioural manage
theory allow business to fulfil the need of diversity in the organization, this can be achieved
through interaction of worker with each other (de Graaf, 2019). This behavioural theory help
workers to make their own decisions without asking or getting instruction from the management.
This theory not only empowered the employee but this also help organization to be more
productive and often help them to increase the quality. The behavioural theory of management
focus on individual need and preference in the organization which include the hierarchy of
Maslow's. This hierarchy allows business to satisfy the need of their employee. When
organization fulfil the need of the worker, they often can increase the motivation and can
improve the behaviour of the worker (Phillips and Phillips, 2016).
. Scientific Management theory
Management theory is the concept of management strategy and how the leader apply the
framework in the new organization. Strategy is a bit different that how business conducted, but
this theory is very beneficial for the organization who try to enhance their organization with the
strict manner in professionally. Scientific management theory help business to understand that
organization can not be successful or productive if they try to create force on the employee, this
often can lead to various conflicts within the environment (Waring, 2016). To overcome this,
many organization use Taylor theory which highlight that fair wages can be an option to increase
the productive and performance of the worker. This Taylor fair wage theory have major principle
such as:
Performance: every organization need to look at very job and task and who is appointed to
complete that particular task. When the company is clear about the job, then they can apply the
rule of thumb to the segment the work to the employees.
Knowledge: it is very important to have right worker at right job, when the organization
understands that is very important to have right men at right job, then their productivity and
quality tend to be better.

Monitoring: only implementing right person at right job is not sufficient the organization need
to monitor the performance of an employee. This monitoring allows business to solve the
problem face by an individual, and they often provide co-operation to reduce the workload from
an individual and rut her divide the work to other people.
Contingency Management Theory
A contingency is a management approach that allow businesses to make their management
effective and their working become contingent. This help management to be more flexible in
term of change require in any circumstance. The circumstance occur in the business slow down
very stage and rise various issue in the organization, this theory allow leaders to lead the
organization in difficult situation (Cole, 2018). Fred fiedler is known as the father of contingency
management theory that guide organization as well as the leader to manage the organization in
times of difficulty. The ability of the leaders is been pushed to the limit, the leaders of the
organization need to have unique leadership style along with the clear thoughts on management
theory. Organization knows that only effective leadership quality can help them to come out in
any difficult situation. There are certain variables of this theory which help leader to manage the
contingency such as:
Acceptation: the leader only can be effective if all the employee admire them and accept their
unique style of management. Leaders need to motivate employee to give their best in times of
difficult, they promise employee the rewards and benefits in the future of the organization.
Relationship: after employee accept the leader, the next step allow leaders to create better
relationship with their employee. Better relationship create strong team and this team can handle
any situation of the organization.
Influence: great influence means great productive, leaders use LPC scale to increase the
profitability of the organization. This LPC scale allow leaders to identify the workers how are
least effective during their working, and they become least preferred by the leaders.
ORGANIZATIONAL STYRUCTURE
Organizational culture determine the information of flows and levels of the company. For
successful organizational structure define the employee job and where they perfectly fit in the
organization (Ahmady, Mehrpour and Nikooravesh, 2016). The structure of organization
determines the outline and centralize chain of command for the organization. Organization
includes the structure like, functional and divisional, and matrix structure. All type of business

whether they are existing or start-up business uses this organizational structure. If the workplace
does not have the formal structure therefore, company might face some difficulties in order to
achieve their goals because of the difficulties they face (Soderstrom, and Weber, 2020).
Centralized and decentralized organizational structure
Centralized organization structure refers to the highly strict and formal business that some
company need in their organization to formulate the company in a better way. The responsibility
in the centralize organization are very clearly and allotted very price sly, subordinate the role of
the employees and the guidance of their superior.
Decentralize organization structure refers to the hire achy system higher level to the lower level.
Employees are the empowered to make their own decision in these structure of the organization.
Importance of organization structure in the new merger company can be that the structure of the
company not only describe the factors of the company. But the structure elaborate the pay scale
of the employee in the company and their motivation towards doing the work. Operation of the
organization structure also refer to the efficiency of the work and end the employees'
coordination which is necessary in the work field. Clear the organization structure is clear the
information to the employee of the company towards their work. Clear instruction give the
employee motivation and confidence to do work in their field (Rodinova, Ostroukhov, Dibrova,
Zaitseva, Larionova, and Yazev, 2017).
Types of organization include the functional structure of the company that describe the real
world competition for the company and to implement some innovation in their company.
Division or multi divisional structure. This structure determines the leadership of the company
that motivate the employee based on the projects that they need for the project and for work
done. Matrix structure determine the top management and the division of the departments which
in the company for the effective work in the company.

The management theory indicates the supervision and organization management and their
performance in the industry that they used. Organizational structure include the systematic
outline and certain activity that need to do in the new company to achieve the company higher
