market. Operations management is necessary to reduce cost of production while maintaining the
quality of production. The purpose of this case analysis is to select and apply proper tools and
techniques for strategic choice making after thoroughly identifying and evaluating the major
forces at Marks and Spencer(M&S). Some standardised procedures are applied for having a
control over the suppliers to maintain identical layout of store and designs. This report is
conducted in context of function of managers and leaders in M&S to help the firm improve their
production capacity and improvement of product quality. It also explains the role and functions
of leaders and managers in the organization along with theories and approaches with their
importance which all can benefit the company's growth and improvement.
