an organization is Operation management. The operation management is anxious with the
conversion of substances and work into valuables and services in as good mannered as possible.
In this report Sainsbury is been taken as retailed company, which has a big unit of grocery store
in UK having production services in various categories. The report will examine the duty of

Supermarkets in 1869, and it is the UK's oldest major food selling business. It is structured in
various ways relating to its culture. The structure can affect the company's business by the way
it works. Sainsbury uses a matrix structure as its structure style. The matrix structure is
adaptable, allowing Sainsbury to respond to changing circumstances such as employee requests
for pay raises or price change, as well as compete against its competitors.

Leader is a individual to which the other workers in a company follows, leader has the
control to make people walk on the strategic path he tell them to. One should have the capability
to understand what is correct to guide others correctly which reflects the leadership quality.

Managers are the individuals who manage or who has given the authority to command
on something (Kusumastuti 2018). Managers have the power to guide the people with what

put all the efforts to reach towards it. To develop the useful skills for an organization to build

motivate them. On the other hand manager has its own roles which take care of hiring
employees who is best for an organization and also motivating and inspiring them to reach their
goals. The manager search and obtain the data about the inner and outer programmes to gain the
knowledge about company and its surroundings. Manager should be able to speak up regarding
any important update with its employees and should maintain transparency with them. Build
trust on manager among the employees.

The main characteristics of the leader involves of maintaining a good record of work of
a directing team and always complete the given targets. Leader should have patience while
guiding the employees and be a great listener. Should have the vision to attain something.
Alongside the manager should also have the specific characteristics, A manager should have the
quality of managing the team efficiently and being available to talk with a team when needed.
Must be knowledgeable in working in a professional environment. Another fact is to manage
time which will put an impact on the other employees. Manager must be efficient to manage
time and become a role model for the other employees working in the company. One should be
self-confident on the abilities and decision-making of oneself to be a good manager.
