A career path on business management has been the Center of my focus although.
These ambitions have motivated my concentration throughout the course. The most critical
ideas that have been emphasized in the management course are communication, decision-
making, motivation, personality, and leadership. The management class has successfully
taught me the aspects of individual responsibility and also teamwork functionality. My
enjoyment of class study is pegged on the challenge that it poses. I am always in the front-
line persevering through difficult scenarios as I challenge myself by undertaking complex
tasks. If I am exposed to a class or course with the inadequacy of my intellectual standards, I
tend to complicate things as a way of challenging myself. For this reason, I was contented in
the management course as the team activities emerged to be stimulating, fun and challenging.
Through completing the various self-assessment and taking management exams, I have been
able to identify my strengths and weaknesses both as a potential manager and as an
employee. The various management course activities and assessments have helped me to
understand my weaknesses, strengths, potential capabilities and what I stand for. The topic of
management traits has helped me in enhancing my communication skills to get along with
people. Excellent communication helps in creating strong relationships with management
stakeholders, thereby, creating a strong culture among the people. This also connects with a
topic in this course named organizational culture. The course has helped me to develop
human skills enhancing my ability to communicate, motivate, lead others and to attain the set
objectives. The technical skills acquired in this course have sharpened my knowledge of
processes, methods, and procedures. The design skills related to the course enhanced my
capability of coming up with solutions to solve issues. Other skills that have been of great
significance in the course are conceptual skills, diagnostic skills, time management skills,
decision-making skills, and communication skills.
