INTRODUCTION
Individual reflection is the personal experience which is expressed by the individual that can
be personal emotions, feelings and events in their own words. It is the expressive form of
documentation which is helpful in expressing the events and feelings.
In the above report it is evaluated the overall overview of the presentation. Further the
various challenges are explained which are faced by the mangers and leaders. The knowledge
and lessons which are learned from the presentation are expressed in the presentation. The report
ends with the explanation to various skills that are needed to be implemented by the leaders and
managers for the future growth of the company.
Part A
We were assigned with a task about the leadership and management for which group
presentation has to be made by giving a brief description to the leadership and management.
Leadership is the process by which employees can be influenced and motivated so that they can
be encouraged and motivate for doing their task appropriately. Leaders play a major role in
boosting the employees and giving positive vibes to them so that they complete their work before
time. Management is controlling and managing the workforce and employees of the company so
that they can manage the work of individual in systematic manner and complete it in the given
period. The challenges which are faced in the Automobile sectors have been evaluated in the
presentation are globalization, sustainability, competition and technology. Further leaning from
unusual cases and situations are prescribed by the technological changes which occur in the
company and another factor is impact of Brexit on the business environment of UK which
somehow directly affects the business process of the organization(Herman, 2016).
Different roles and responsibility of manager and leader are motivating, guiding, training
& learning which are helpful in the overall company’s growth. Crossing cultures are also
explained with the theories of Hofstead cultural dimensions framework which includes different
frameworks for describing various cultures which are related to the business. In this framework it
is defined as the Low power distance vs. high power distance, individualism vs collectivism,
masculinity vs Feminity, low uncertainty avoidance vs high uncertainty avoidance and short term
orientation vs long term orientation this is helpful in describing various cultures around the world
which is carried forward within the business environment. Different pathway are explained

which are helpful to the leader and manager to lead their employees effectively by exploring,
connecting, engaging and enriching them to work for the betterment of the organization. By
exploring various leadership concepts and practices which are helpful for employees in
developing their areas of interest whereas by connecting and engaging the leader could motivate
their employees to engage in the programs, process so that this helps in developing the positive
attitude of employees for the company (Bârgău, M.A., 2015). At last in the conclusion it was
explained that the management and leadership plays the major role in the growth and
development of the employees and the company. The goal can be achieved by setting targets and
objectives which can further achieved by the employees in the given time period which may be
done under the proper guidance of the leader and the proper management by the manger which is
very helpful for employees in achieving the set targets on time(Pardey,2016).
Part B
Various challenges that are faced by are globalization which is helpful in running,
operating and expanding the business globally. National authorities, culture and economies are
somehow affects the decision making of the leaders and manager. Sustainability is also the
another concepts as now a day’s consumers are moving towards sustainability, so it is important
for the companies to use and produce more sustainable products so the leaders and mangers
should make the plan and strategies according to that to achieve the profit margins. Competitor is
also another factor which directly affects the organization unfavorably. As there is more business
among the companies, many of the companies are producing similar product at different prices
and quality which may be vary according to the preferences of the company so the company’s
leader and manager should emphasis on delivering high quality products and services at the
minimum prices to their customers(Kok and McDonald, 2017).
From the above presentation I learned that leadership and management plays a vital role
in enhancing the business of the company and earning the huge profit margin along with
achieving the set objectives of the company. Leader can motivate the employees to give their
best and achieve the targets effectively which are set by them. They also help them in exploring
new skills in them also which is helpful in their future growth and development. The manager
also effectively set and manages the tasks process and monitors them so that employees can be
easily guided. Engaging the employees in various activities is helpful for the employees to
explore more and attains the set targets which may somehow fruitful for the growth of the

company and thus company can attains the huge profit margin along with achieving the set
objectives. Company can compete with other rivals in the market with the effective leadership
and management and sustain in the market for long term. The employees are to be guided and
monitor effectively by the leaders and mangers(Renz and Herman, 2016).
For good leadership and management it is very important for the leaders and
manger to motivate their employees by providing incentives, rewards and bonus to their
employees for their job well done which motivate them, for doing the good work and work
further with the positive attitude. They can boost up and motivate them by encouraging, this will
help them to build an positive attitude among the employees and helpful for growth of the
company. Better communication should be needed, the leaders and managers must be connected
with the employees on the daily basis so that they can overcome the problems which are faced by
them and could guide the, properly in accomplishing the task. Team building leader and manager
should have more emphasis on the group and team task so that the employees learn more from
each other and complete their work effectively with full enthusiasm. Leaders and a manger
should listen to their employees if any doubts, query would have occur with them this could be
helpful for them in developing an positive image for the company in the eye of employee thus
the employee will be loyal towards the company( Higgs and Dulewicz, 2016).
CONCLUSION
From the above study it is concluded that the leadership and management are the vital
part of the organization which can be helpful in the effective involvement of the employees in
the business process. The leaders and managers should use plans and strategies to motivate and
encourage their employees. This can be done by boosting and motivating them by providing
incentives and rewards for their job well done so that they can positively work for accomplishing
the targets which are set by the company which tends to have growth of the company.
