Leadership and management can be refer as synonyms. Leadership is is the essential part
to achieve the effective and strong management. Where leadership has different styles and it is a
setting of a new direction and vision for he employees and the members of the group as they
follow and management is the art of controlling or directing people or employees of an
organisation with the help of available resource in the organisation in a group according to the
principles and value that have been established in he organisation. Leadership is the capacity of
any company's management which is set to achieve challenging goal, taking fast decision and
decisive action when needed (Doppelt, 2017).
In this presentation I observed that this is based on the leadership and its different styles
followed by Bill gates. Bill gates was and author, investor, humanitarian, etc. and known as
founder of Microsoft firm. The pattern of explicit and implicit action which is performed by a
leader. This is a approach of motivating employees and executing plans and provide direction to
the employees. As Bill gates is transformational leaders, and encouragement and support is
provide by him to the individuals instead of focusing on the resources. I observed that the
because of its strong vision and very passionate toward his work, therefore he follows
transformational leadership style.
As according to the presentation there are many traits in leadership style followed by Bill
gates, which is Focused, creativity, caring, education and passionate (Koster, M., Vos, B. and
van der, 2019). By set focus on only one thing then I can be a leader for this I must have the
knowledge of lots of things that the Bill gates have. Instead of staying comfort zone, as bill gates
always motivate and encourage employees I should also encourage the team member of my
group and I also have to caring attitude toward the group members as the Bill gates I having very
caring attitude even after being a richest man in the world. Education is also a major factors or
trait that after dropping his education he did not ignore the education, whenever having time he
competed his education and I also do not ignore education and try to share more to other
whatever knowledge I have. And as the Bill gates is very passionate toward his work. And his
passion can be seen through his products of Microsoft. I am also a very passionate toward to my

But there is also weakness of his leadership style that may create problem in the
organisation and between the team members. Like Arrogance, conflict avoidance and result
driven these re the weakness of the leadership that the bill gates followed which I also have to
take care about it and try to remove these weakness from the team that may create problem in
managing and leadership. Work with the passion, great vision, strong team and long term
approach all these are the key success factors of Bill gates which can I also apply and follow to
become success. From the presentation I concluded that being an effective leader and success
like gates is not been easy (Bateman and et.al., 2019). To become a strong and effective leader I
have also have to rake risk, must have the ability to create workplace in innovative and creative
style place so that every employee can take interest in their work. I have concluded and analysed
that Bill gates is one of the superior leader ever alive and the richest man, even after this he
motivate me that I can be a effective leader and can handle the team member effectively and
manage them.
As working in a team I have observed that team makes the task easy by dividing work in
team members and work load can be reduce. But to make an effective team that can handle the
task and complete it within time period and follow the leader and listen to me. There are many
skills that I can be applied and learned to handle the team effectively and motivate them to work
toward to achieve the target. I also observed that effectiveness of a team is mainly depend on the
size of the team, diversity of roles, experience and personality all these factors makes a team. As
I have a team of four to five member including me and everyone has there own role I the team
that help them to be work desperately without any intervention. I allot them different task that
help them to be skilled in every field and can work without me if needed.
But to make an effective team is a difficult task in there own by own and create problems
in a team. I also have to face some challenges while building an effective team, such as role
uncertainty, lack of trust, unclear goal, disengagement, different talent and many more. These
challenges make it difficult for me to build team (Stocker and et.al., 2016). As I analysed that in
a team there are different kind of people who come together to accomplish a common goal, they
have different personality, way of thinking, having different talent and in the initial stage all are
unknown to each other that become the reason to lack of trust in team and they do not participate

discussion, also play games that boost their moral and learned new skills. I have learned from
the experience in working and leading a team is not very easy, have to very passionate towards
the task and work, and also I have learned that have to take care of the group members and
motivate them and guide them in every step of their work and also have to evaluate their work
that they can make changes in their work and achieve target by working effectively. To enhance
the team and make them a effective team that can work effectively in future to achieve future
goals, I need to improve my skills and learning knowledge that will help in leading a group that
what leadership style I can use to lead and direct them and different leadership styles and their
weakness which I can remove and eliminate from the team. For this I have to improve my
leading skill, motivating and communication skills that I can make healthy chat and establish
relation with them that will help me to boost their moral and encouraging and motivating them
(Doulougeri and Montgomery, 2019).
