INTRODUCTION
In a business organisation, leadership means capacity of business organisation to deal
with the challenges to achieve the goals and to take the big decisions. Leadership is also provides
a direction to the company in which it need to perform. Other than this, digital technology is
advanced technology which is based on online systems to operate the organisation’s activities.
Hazev,Haz and Tas are taken to further understand these concepts. In this assignment different
management theories will be discussed and roles of leaders will also be analysed. Apart from this
company’s internal as well as factors are also analysed to know its performance (Xu and Gursoy,
2015).
TASK 1
P1. Classical management theories
This is the theory which says that workers working in the organisation only want physical
needs and economic needs to satisfy. It also says that employees are not indulged into
satisfying their social needs. Some of the classical management theory which Hazev, Haz
and Tas is applying in their organisation are-:
 Scientific management theory- This is the theory which is applied in Hazev,Has
and because it is helping the organisation to decide the best method of increasing
their productivity. It is also helping them to decide what workers are require to do
and how does managers will plan and control the tasks.
 Bureaucratic theory- This Theory of classical management says that organisation
work as a hierarchy. Hazev, Haz and Tas is following this theory in which company
operate in a bureaucratic manner where higher posts is on above and lower posts
are working under them. Like starting from president, vice president, managers,
assistance manager, supervisors and so on.
 Administrative management theory- Organisation is applying this theory their in
it because it is helping them to divide the task appropriately, define task clearly and
also help in organising it properly. So That work can be done effectively and
organisation’s goals can be achieved.

P2. Roles of leaders & different leadership styles
1. Inspire trust- Leaders of Hazev, Haz and Tas perform the role in which they make or
influence others to follow them. They inspire them to trust each other so that company’s
goals can be achieved as desired.
2. Execute strategy- Leaders of Hazev, Haz and Tas also play a role of executer. They
implement the plans which is created by the managers or top executives of the company.
Leaders do it in a very planned manner so that goals of the company can be achieved
effectively and efficiently.
Leadership style:
 Delegative leadership style- Is one in which company’s leaders are giving their employees
some responsibilities to take decisions by their own. They do this because it is important for
lower level workers to understand their responsibility, it also help in reducing the burden
from one head. Delegative leadership style motivates the employees to perform their best.
 Autocratic leadership style- Is one in which responsibilities lie only on the hand of top
management. Employees are not allowed to speak or give their suggestions for making
decisions.
 Democratic leadership style- It is the one n which other employee are also allowed to give
their suggestions and ideas for taking the decisions.
P3. Review management & leadership style in specific organisation
Hazev is a service sector organisation working as a restaurant in which it is serving food
to the public. It is a big restaurant with lot of people working in it so the leader of the
organisation follows democratic leadership style. This is because, Hazev consider their
employees opinion very important and they find it some time new and innovative also. This help
leaders in taking big & important decisions very easily as well as it motivates their employees
and they also feel as a important part of the company (Chan and Hsu, 2016).

These factors can be determined by the organisation by applying SWOT analysis in their

 Strength- Company’s strength is that it is one of the famous restaurant of London
with a good management strategies and large customer base. This is making the
organisation different from others and also helping them to compete in the market.
 Weakness- Havez weakness is that its financial position is not very good which is
