INTRODUCTION
Knowledge is basically the information which the individual gains from their experiences
while creativity is where the individual use that information to come up with the best results. A
combination of these both is important for excelling in the future. This report gives a brief about
effective communication skills and personal reflection.
PART A
Driscoll's model of reflection
What
This stage mainly describes the events which occurred and focuses mainly on the specific
event. When I was working in an organization, I was unable to communicate with my team
members as well as the top management and thus I faced the situation of bad communication
skills. I and my team members were allotted with the task to increase the sale of a product which
was recently launched by the company (Nonaka and Toyama, 2015). The success of this product
can help the company to achieve their long-term as well as short-term goals and thus will
generate high amount of revenue. In order to take this product to the customers and make it a big
success, our whole team was assigned with the task to promote this product at the great level and
thus convince the customers for purchasing it. It was team of around 50 employees where we all
were given the responsibility to approach the target market segment and hence advertise this
product. For this purpose a meeting was conducted by the top management to discuss the various
aspect of this product and how the success of this product will be advantageous for the company.
In the meeting, I was assigned with coordinating the activities of other team members,
continuously monitoring them and interact with the employees for making them understand the
benefits of products (Sigala and Chalkiti, 2015).
So what
As I was assigned with the task to coordinate the team members and regularly interact
with the customers, I needed a good communication skills where I was lacking behind. At the
time of this task,I was unable to communicate with my team members regarding the problems
that they were facing. Besides this, I was also not able to communicate with the customers and
was unable to solve their problems regarding the product due to lack self-confidence in me. I was
not interacting with my team members on the regular basis due to which their productivity
eventually decreased (Khedhaouria and Jamal, 2015). Also, my ability to convince the customers

for purchasing product was not up to the level due to which the sale of product was going down.
After having the self-assessment, I found that my weak communication skills was the main
reason behind this, so I begin to shape my communication skills and tried to come out of the
hesitation. I started to take feedback from the employees as where they were facing problem and
what could be done to improve this. Besides this, I begin to take more and more calls of the
customers for studying their presences and started to communicate with them effectively which
changed their perception for the product. The outcome of my improved communication was that
team members begin to ask their problems from me and thus this increased their productivity
level. All these efforts eventually increased the sale of product in that following month.
Now What
In order to get over from my skills and different task performance. Also, it mentioned the
different opportunity and goals which clearly mentioned the outcomes and opportunities to gain
the business opportunities that I can achieve. On the other situation, it grows and make the things
more clearly and define the different result and objectives. In order to over my lacking point I
need to take some coaching and mentoring sessions to gain the business results and also
motivating the business opportunity more clearly performed in systematic manner. But apart
from this I have ever made this changes and also create the best dealing performance in order to
be more effective and analyzing goals and opportunities.
PART B
Reflection
From the above mentioned experience I have got to learn so many different things from
my overall experience. Working withing the organization is the great experience for me that
provoke me to take new risk. This task motivates me to learn something new and different which
I have never experienced before. Also, I found different challenges to implement the new
business plan meanwhile which also creates different logistic items and making the things
ineffective (Sigala and Chalkiti, 2015). Also, it requires the different opportunity which better
understand the objective and task. In professional context I have gained distinct skills and
abilities to motivate me as well as my team members. Also required to sustained the business
gain opportunities in systematic manner. Along with that, this process also helps me to improve
my skills and abilities towards performing the new task of the business. From my experience I
have got to learn that how much communication is important to accomplish the project and I

have also seen that how negative consequences can be facing due to lack of communication.
Also with that it certainly very essential to maintained the good networking with the peers and
people within the organization. Somewhere it helps to motivate things in very effective and
efficient manner. Therefore, I learn t how to implement the project and how to deal with the
uncertainties as well. Apart from the things, I have acquired suggestions from the different
opportunities to gain knowledge and effective business task. From my working experience I have
gained practical knowledge which helps me to motivate in systematic and effective manner to
generate income.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above report it has been found that how knowledge and creativity is
useful for the individuals to gain more information and knowledge. On the other side, it also
helps to gain the future opportunities as well to perform the significant activities. However,
present study defines the information and growth to make the systematic result and growing
business task. Also, it brings new results and make better understand the knowledge and how it
creates opportunity too.
