SECTION 1 – Occupational Competence
3.1 Planning and Organising Work
Planning and organising is very essential in such industries (Abuhamad and et. al., 2018).
To become a leader I had to make several examples and information regarding creating a
strategic plan and making better opinions and divide work as per skills of employee. I used to
interact with both internal and external teams and all teams present virtually this could be
understood by a real example of When I was managing my work at all three companies together,
one in London as well. time management and being active in all three was head tasks of it. I used
to keep correct statistics of work given and divided in teams and created plans over which all
members should work. I had a clear set of rules in which communication barrier and non-
strategic planning was always avoided. Technical knowledge is also required to make a good
impression in this cover. It includes to have a delegated work and provide several strategies to
make all people work in correct coordination. Planning and organising work before explaining it
to my team was my first aim, to achieve target goals. Main features of doing so are making all
schemes, coordinating as per requirements and mostly to communicate correctly with all people
connected to work.
Certain skills are required to accomplish goals, I use certain tools to reach goals at,
correct time and qualitative work, shall be presented into it. Being manager I had to plan
workload given to my team plus targeting them towards goals in most achievable time limit.
sole purpose here is to achieve certain advantages while planning such work, some of them are
mentioned below:
Properly managing time and all resources.
Being flexible in nature and properly organised for work.
Being aware of repercussions & team issues at time of working on a project.
Deliver outstanding results with correct budget and in limited time period.
Before commencing any work proper research and processes should be discussed (Fazio
and et. al., 2018).

3.2 Managing Health & Safety and Welfare
I believe that it's important to have very safe, secure and hygienic environment in
company. All individuals working in organisation were my responsibility. I needed to give
correct facilities to all of them. Correct environment of working such as proper ventilated rooms
or place, food provided should be tested and organised first before serving it to employees, all
these essential things were my primary focus goals. I believe that once team or employees are
healthy they can work better in any critical situation, plus this makes them more loyal towards
working for organisation. Also, being manager correct facilities were given to coordinate work in
organisation. As, its important for me to be acknowledge about all new commercial laws passed
for companies, Health and safety regulatory acts have become very active in country, they have
to be done as per guidelines which are created by government. I have always been keen to
understand this concept and be aware and recall the time While working in my construction
projects, main aspects to cover was to keep my staff healthy and safe. I kept correct balance in
working zones, plus needed to maintain proper environment for them to work in. Being their
manager and team leader. their health and safety was my responsibility. I used to check the
working site and environment before starting any project.
Welfare of company and employees can only be done once they can accomplish all goals
and aim set by organisation (Wiegers and et. al., 2019). Government is getting very much
agitated of fact to completely nullify any company which has not maintained health and sanitary
standards in organisation. Generally people lack in pertaining such skills as its non related to
their jobs in such organisation. I always consider all risk which are connected to it plus given
certain reports which is regarding any of such issues in organisation. In case of any health &
safety question has arise, I created an effective solution for it with explained results so that other
employees do not object and work in correct remormat9ive structure.
3.3 Managing Quality
The competencies required to full fill correct qualitative work, as work has become a lot
complex and varied in nature, one has to seek solution to avoid having issues related to
company's products or work (Tracy and et. al., 2018). The first aspect to remember is to maintain
quality as per public interest, I scaled their number of buyers and as per requirement they have to
construct quality. Second is price general cost of same product but different quality can be done
in several stages. Prices decide weather quality is being attained or not. In order to being

consistent in this I had to be very concentrated while planning all such projects consisted in
nature and keep progressing and changing with changes in society or target market. My role as a
quality manger is very different and I have to take care of all such elements which are connected
to this nature. I remember the time when to understand things more personally, I had to
personally check all my working sites and created many aspects of making the correct effective
solutions for them. My aim was to create correct quality and as per that instructions was passes
along to my team. In the planned maintenance contract of 2017-24. the construction had to be as
per correct quality and quantitative time period. Here, I observed each and every aspects keenly.
Quality is utmost target of all things and have to create any sorts of relationships. The crucial
aspects to consider is for followed up work and exempted deadline at peak. I always tried to
work in correct working zones as per guidelines in organisation. Quality manger should be
efficient in nature to coordinate as per requirement in organisation. Its the responsibility of all
member to follow instruction care fully and any type of negligence shall not be avoided in case
of quality of product.
3.4 Implementing Sustainable Construction Development
Sustainability is core procedure and requirement in any form (Blümcke and et. al., 2019).
one has to keep work sustained in basic nature, it should not go below, level or above in care of
crucial situation in market. I always seeked, sustainability goals by making correct strategies of
having correct supplies in time of urgent needs. Basic nature should include to create correct
structure what will delete any sort of issues in environment. I was always very aware while using
natural substances as its, crucial aspect of using all natural material very efficiently and creating
a better environment. these shall not be misused and any k8ind of hazardous subtenants if used
shall be reduced and its waste should be recycled in correct form. Its a very difficult field to
mange this department I understood this after the time of constructing, Ipswich Borough Council
this project was very important for the organisation. The aim here was to construct properly to
gain sustainability in market. As this client represented a lot goodwill in organisation. Electric
resources and other things such as food, and water supplies are also, responsibility of
organisation and its very crucial to full fill demands in environment. their are many guidelines
which are created in organisation which helps in reducing correct environment of company. one
has to sustain all such clauses as per guidelines in nature.

3.5 Knowledge of Commercial, Contractual and Legal Issues
Its very important being the manger to be updated about all new legal reforms and
important aspects of collective instructions. one has to create a various steams and being up to
date as per guidelines given in organisation is very important (Duloy, Kaltenbach and Keswani,
2018). Basic nature of them is to create they correct legal documentation of company so that it
cannot be challenged in later future, by any person. The basic nature here, justifies fact that it is
very important for manger to have knowledge about all essential elements of this factor and shall
be known of other internation always as well in which they have daleth in past or will do
business in future. Its very important to create awareness and have knowledge of all areas related
to my work including laws and international laws . This helped me while I was working on a
very important project where, I had to be a lot approachable and flexible for my team as its was
very important project for us. Plus this construction was a lot different than generalised projects.
I had to make correct assumptions about this project and per this create guidelines for team.
While accessing the sites the contractors were allowed to go by themselves. its important to be
aware of rules of other countries and treaties between two countries in which business is done.
Commercial business is very much into maintain all elements in balance and making firm to be
legal in all its working aspects, it includes them to have correct licensing in nature plus being
very much to support all essential elements of their goods produced.
SECTION 2 – Management Competence
3.2.1 Communications
Its very important to maintain in organisation, I had to create basic nature of all
environment in nature, their has to be collective data in procedure for maintaining correct
reformative and communication strategies which have to be done in organisation.
communication skill is very important to be maintained in all organisation so that any sort of
confusion can be avoided in nature communication and I realised this when, Like when I was
working on projects like, Ipswich Borough Council & Planned maintenance contract of 2017-
24. i had to keep correct communication with my teams as they were very important projects for
us. i kept correct communication with them. its basic reason why most organisations have issues
in maintain correct records of availing such balances in nature. The critical terms communication

strategies in nature.
I had to create correct form of strategies which are as per guidelines and correct
communication so that their basic purpose can be full filled and their is no such confusion in
their nature. The important aspects is to Remember code of conduct and hierarchy levels which
have to be as per guidelines in nature. employees should not forget code of conduct and working
ethics which are very important to maintain in organisation (Tracy and et. al., 2018).
3.2.2 Decision Making
In present time, decision making can be considered as an effective process that helps an
individual in taking right decisions, while performing different number of tasks at workplace. If
it is talked about me, I can say that I have been a good decision takers in uncertain situation.
Basically, this could be understood with a good scenario, where I was managing my work at all
three companies together. Since, I was working from London only, it was very much required by
me to enhance the overall performance level of my own, so that I could perform well in all the
three companies.
There were some situations that raised fear among my mind, as it was becoming really
very hard for me to deliver the same type of energy in every firm. This is where, my decision
making skill, which is pretty much strong has helped me out in meeting the desired goals and
objectives in a shorter span.
3.2.3 Managing Information
Managing the information can be considered as the responsibility of administration of an
organization, whether it is a business a not-for-profit organization and or a government body
(Wiegers and et. al., 2019). In respect to this, I have been through a situation where, I have
played a part (crucial one), in the project within Ipswich Borough Council & Planned
maintenance contract of 2017-24. This is where, while managing the team it came hard for me to
control the information, where I have decided to consider the functional organisational structure
so that right information can be reached to correct team mate. This has helped me out in meeting
the requirements of both team mates and of the company as well. On the other hand, it has also
help to me in enhancing the performance level of team members through providing them
appropriate details in regards to every single task that they were continuously performing at the
workstation.

3.2.4 Leadership and Strategic Management
It is important within every single organisation to have leadership and strategic
management so that appropriate modifications could effectively be e managed within the work
station so that goals can be achieved right on time (Fukada, 2018). In the same way, all the three
companies were also expecting the same from me e while I was continuously performing serving
them together. I can say that I have been an effective leader and managed the strategic decisions
for the business organisations. But, there were some uncertain situations that took place, where I
have dealt with decision making and conflict management, so that I could develop strategies in
regards to all the goals and objectives, that all the organisations has desired to achieve.
3.2.5 Developing people or Teams
Developing teams or people is something that have a business organisation in meeting
specific goals and objectives in specific time frame. In present context, I can totally say that I
have been a good team leader at workstation of all of the three organisations. Basically, I can
take a specific example for this element, where I look among different weaknesses of my team
members and analysed the areas in which they need improvement. Performing this action, I have
considered the best training materials and tools so that to train individuals their basic needs. This
has raised ample number of chances for them to grow and to gain number of opportunities within
the organisation, where they can get promoted as well. But, I have analysed that what has
affected was the interest of team mates, where some of them were effectively took part in getting
trained and some of them did not.
3.2.6 Innovation
In every single business organisation, I can say that innovations plays an important role
because customers in all over the world demands for the best and trends has changed their way
of thinking in regards to the products and services. In the same way, I have also managed myself
and change to my way of performing the tasks where I was used to considered the autocratic
leadership style, which has impacted on my performance level, because many of the team mates,
were having trouble while working with me. Basically, the change that I brought on my own
working style was that I changed the leadership style from autocratic to democratic. This has
lead me to think over number of situations in the same way my team mates think, which
improvised my decision taking skill for all the three business organisations that I was working
for.

SECTION 3 - Commitment to Professionalism
3.3.1 Professional Judgement and Responsibility
Rational judgements and responsibility are the two important aspects for an individual
who is working at a higher position within the business organisation. In the project within
Ipswich Borough Council & Planned maintenance contract of 2017-24, I have had to take
different decisions for the betterment of my company, so that I could help firm to gain
competitive advantages in a short span (Abuhamad and et. al., 2018).
3.3.2 Commitment to abide by the Rules and Regulations of Professional Competence and
Conduct
I have been an effective and committed professional in regards to all the three
organisations in which I was working. There are a number of rules and regulations of
professional competency and conduct that properly needs proper follow up by every single
individual who is working in a organisation (Fukada, 2018). In the same way, I have also
followed all the rules and regulations of professional competency and conduct. Through this, I
can stay loyal with the number of tasks, that I have been given by the organizations. Away with
this, as I have been dealing with the miss management, it become vital for me to improve the
situation of my own and of my team as well.
3.3.3 Commitment to CPD
Continuous professional development is something which is required by every single
individual in their own life for the betterment of the future. I am also having different range of
responsibilities in regards to the business organisation, and for my own professional
development. With the help of this, I can say that I can gain competitive advantages while
working within the business organisation and gain a good position in near future as well in
specified time frame. Basically, this is the actual need that a staff member has, when it comes to
continuous professional development, which may help and ensures in holding different range of
capabilities to keep pace with the current standards of others in the same field. Including this, it
is also said that commitment in regards to CPD also ensures and aid in maintaining the
knowledge along with the skills that are needed by me and by my team mates so that I could
effectively deliver the professional service to all the three business organisations, I am working
in.
