Leadership and management are the two important aspects of any successful organisation in the
work environment. Leadership is defined as process which helps in achieving the goals and
objectives in the most effective manners by influencing the group of team of the organisation.
this influence can be created by the means of various formal sources in the organisation to
achieve the desire level of outcomes . the management is a process which focus on planning,
controlling and organising and directing the organisation to accomplished the desire level of
outcomes in the most effective manners. the manager is responsible for making the effective and
efficient policies which will help them to improve the organisational cultures in the most
valuable manners. the roles and responsibilities are taken care of manager and leader as they
helps in achieving the desire level of outcome of the modern organisation. there are different
type of leadership which are compared on the base of their silks and position in the organisation
and also effective its desire aims of the company. It is important for the manager and ;leader to
have different type of skills which helps them to perform the task in the most effective manners
and achieve the desire outcomes within the set time period. (Wong 2017)

Leadership is a process of motivating the group of employees who will helps in
achieving the common goals in the shortest period of time. In the organisation, there must be

The manager is a person who is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the
operational activities of the organisation along with the division and departments that will help
in achieving the desire goals. The manager is responsible for managing the group of people as to
maintain the effective work culture .they are also known as the line manager who is taking care
of the people and lead the group so that pre-determine goals and objectives are achieved as
planned . some of the roles and duties of the manager in the organisation as stated as below:
 The manager of the organisation is responsible for maintain the health and safety of the
employees while working in the organisation . it is duty of the manager to provide the necessary
tools to its employees so that all the work can be reformed in the effective ways so that goals
can be archived.
 They provide personal as well as professional ongoing development training which helps
the employees to perform better in the given tasks and activities so that it is competed in the most
effective manners.
 Creating the healthy environment and work culture which focus on providing the good and
continues improvement in the growth and high performances .and also work with the human
resource department to recruit and hire and select the most suitable employees so that
organisation are able to grow their business to next level/
 It is a responsibility of the manager to guide and coach , mentor its employees so that they are
able to compete the task in the most effective ways and are able to manage the various things at
the time and gives the results in the set time period. (Teece, 2016)
