PARAGRAPH
From a survey conducted by PwC, approximately 88% of the millennials would prefer to
work with companies in which their own values are reflected, not only this approximately 86%
of the millennials further says that they wouldn't think twice before leaving an employer who
fails to meet the expectation level of corporate responsibility. This research lays emphasis on
how young millennials looks in their carrier for personal fulfilment and as a result they are
reshaping their workplace drastically, which means no longer an employer can afford lip service
payment to important issues such as equality, sustainability and gender diversity. They are in an
urgent need to tackle them. Moreover, purpose-led business employees are thrice more
productive as compared to average workforce. If workers know that are contributing much larger
picture then they are more energetic and enthusiastic but millennials think of bigger picture. Its
not enough of businesses to appear on ground level completely socially ethical. They now need
to incorporate and internalise attitude which is purpose driven only if they want to be appealed in
front of empowered millennial workforce. A successful business lifeblood is a strong team ethos.
In order for a business to motivate their workforce, under common vision you need to work
together. Expectation of a return is inevitable for owners and stakeholders. But if an employee
knows that going everyday office and even a little percentage of their efforts and time was going
for a good social cause what level of powerful motivators they will be.
