INTRODUCTION
Developing of leadership and management is an process that is used for skills and capability of
worker appointed as leader and manager. Also improvisation required to be done. Both of them
is considered to be a very important part of an organization and is also involved in various kinds
of important operations taking place in an organization. It contains innovation and change in an
business in which influence is done to the employee and accept changes in efficient manner. An
agenda is required by the company to work in order to get efficient and valuable outcomes from
it. The organization that has been taken in this report is Tesco which is a retailer supermarket
brand in Britain. Its headquarters is in Welwyn garden City Hertfordshire. In these report things
that is going to be covered is leadership and management concept, theories and approaches of
both leadership and management, comparison between the contemporary leaders. Then methods
of developing management and leadership are to explained.

performed in easy manner with smoothness. It also deals with administrative work of an
organization and is ensuring that they have to achieve higher gains on continuous basis and has
full control on a task that is to be performed as per daily basis.
Leadership help in establishing of culture that is responsible for accomplishing of task
with due efficiency and work is done with more positivity. It is personality of an individual that
is responsible for creating influence over other persons working in an organization and helps in
achieving target in smooth manner. It always guide other and act as a mentor or coach to guide
through unique ways of achieving target in effective manner. A personality that is present in each
of the team and this always leads towards achieving of better results by the panel after the dead
line of project. It is an quality that is more effective and attracts other people that increases
following of them in an organization which helps in getting more success to them. They are also
helpful in creating of vision for the team and help in setting up manager an adequate task by
applying different technique. It has to be stated that all well-known author. Management si the
process through which a manager processes certain task and the process that is being implied in a

in management is to be used to make planning, ordination, directing, controlling, organizing and

adequate path to be emphasized on business. It always try to build a tendency and confidence
between the team (Malik, Dhar, and Handa, 2016). Also higher goals can be achieved by making
an extra effort that is implementing of skills and abilities to make extra effort. Manager also
build an avidity in the employees and always try that an individual also performs work by getting
out of their own pool of knowledge to learn new things to make better outcomes. The mangers
also give guidance to the organization through which higher success could be achieved under
aggressive market condition. Leaders are there to provide a pathway to the employees which
helps in achieving of goals in specific period of time. Management also try to solve different
types of situation in which an effectual style is formed in which a production is managed in
effective manner. Selecting of an adequate candidates as an employee is necessary through
which skills, abilities and knowledge of the employee is improvised also performance is
improved in an organization. Tesco being one of the biggest organization in UK and consists of
variety of products and services. All this is required to be managed by mangers and leaders with
coordination in contribution. Such roles played by them has been defined as follows:

communication from team by which more clarity that is going to lead towards gain of

the time of their birth. Tesco is required to perform functions of such type over different parts
that is having wider networks and important role. Also it is going to enhance ability to work in
