In an order to run the business in an appropriate manner it is important to develop a good
leadership. For developing the good leadership there are various ways. Some of those are
discussed below-
Individual perspective
Leadership is so decisive or practical characteristics which actually develops the various
processes and procedures for achieving the objectives. It includes the perfect understanding of
taking the decisions effectively, precisely and efficiently so that target can get achieved properly.
There are so many characteristics can get found on the prominent leaders. Some of the traits or
characteristics are vision, strong personality, trustworthiness, accountability, resilience and etc.
(Ross, 2013).
Leadership is all about motivating a team to work in an effective and efficient manner so that the
organizational goals and objective scan be accomplished. From an individual’s perspective
leadership helps in motivating people to work more. Leadership directs the people in the right
direction. Leadership is more of an applied and a conclusive characteristic which changes during
the course of accomplishment of objective
Relational Perspective
A good leadership includes the qualities of trusting or helping the employees to work with
efficiency. They motivate the workers to perform with confidence. A good leader requires
encouraging their team for performing together and attractively. A leader is responsible for
completing all the works and tasks carefully and properly as well. A good leader is required to be
very attentive, creative or innovative to all situations or conditions whether if it is negative or
positive. In order to get the best results or outcomes, a leader requires a good team which can
support him or her attractively. He is the person who appreciates the teammates for their better
performance. A leader is also required to be always accountable towards the success of the team
or group. A good leader is required to deal with some people to get encountered with some of the
circumstances or situations. He or she basically requires a strong personality so that negative

requires to be very effective & presentative all the time so that negativity or loss can take no

Technical Skills
A good leader requires all the technical skills which can get used in the business in any manner
for the success or improvement of it. Adoption of all the updated technologies at the required
time is so important to get include in the environment of business. Good knowledge of technical
skills helps the business to grow faster. Without having proper knowledge of it, a leader becomes
unable to meet the business requirements in a proper manner. Having proper knowledge of the
same helps in managing the business activities in a proper manner and efficiently as well
(Bolman, et. al., 2017).
Communication Skills
It is well known that in order to run the business with positivity and without conflicts
maintaining the good communication skills are importantly required. It helps the people to
encourage themselves towards their objectives or gaols in a proper manner. Communication also
helps in building the strong bond between the followers and leader which helps in maintaining
the positive environment in the business. This is how it can be said that in order to meet the
efficiency of the business communication skills is essential in a good leader (Samuels, et. al.,

3. What distinguishes leadership from management?
Leaders and managers are very important for running the business in an efficient manner. Both
of them work so hard for meeting the needs and requirements of the business in a proper manner.
Managers are responsible for managing each and every activity in an appropriate manner and
directing the business in the perfect direction. On the other hand, leaders are the one who always
influences people to perform gratefully (Goleman, 2017).
Leadership
Leaders get considered as a superior personality who always focuses on people and motivates
them to perform so attractively and with quality as well. They focus on the objectives of the
business to accomplish them willingly and enthusiastically as well. A leader motivates the people
to work in the required and perfect direction. A good leader also includes the talent of leading a
group or crowd &encourages them in their desired direction. This process or procedure mainly
consists of manipulating the crowd or an individual. It helps them in the accomplishments of
objectives & goals in a proper manner. A leader basically includes the various abilities or
capabilities for motivating people or directing them for meeting their needs and requirements in a
well-behaved manner (Ward, 2016).
Management
Management is an art of managing and running business in a successful manner. Managers get
considered as the responsible person for maintaining, managing or designing the various
activities of the association in an attractive manner it also includes the art of completing the tasks
in an appropriate manner and in the limited time frame. Management basically denoted to a
process or procedure which gets used by the people for dealing and managing people from
different age group for meeting the company’s goals (Antonakis, et. al., 2017). Management
takes place in various areas such as hospitality, offices, sports, education and etc.
