Leadership is the action of leading others and supports the team members to accomplish the
overall objective of the organization (Linzey, 2015). Therefore, in this leaders provide guidance
to group members and support them so that efficiency will be maintained in the organization. In
this essay the discussion is made on understanding the difference between management and
leadership. Furthermore, the discussion is also made on identifying the strategies which
enterprise leaders can adopt to become socially responsible leaders.
The role leadership is to set the objective and direction in which guidance is provided to the team
employees towards achieving the objective of the organization. It also develops vision and
mission of the organization, in this it describe the strategies by which employees and team
members accomplish the vision of the organization (Lis et al., 2015). It also focuses on
assembling the team and creates shared values in the organization; the leaders of the organization
also describe the skills and knowledge required for particular job position through job analysis
and job description.
The leadership motivates the team members to success in the long run and also focuses on
resolving the conflicts of the organization. Further, the estimation also describes that leadership
also know when to delegate the power and responsibility to other members and focuses on
coping with the change (Linzey, 2015). The estimation revealed that leadership focuses on the
needs and requirement of other people and increase alignment by connecting the personal
objective with the overall objective of the organization. This leads in increasing communication
and increase the intellectual skills of the team members by looking into the future and by
forecasting the external and internal environment (Simonet & Tett, 2013). Furthermore, leaders
have various skills and roles through which it satisfy the employees needs and achieve
organizational objective which includes innovate, creative, flexible, decision maker, seeking
followers and focuses on adopting various other leadership style.
In comparison to this management focuses on understanding and investigating the overall
objective of the company that is for the reason business conduct their operations, furthermore the
goals of the team is also identified it is because team members play an important role in
achieving the objective of the organization (Rao & Tilt., 2016). As compared to the leadership,
the role of the management is also to creating the tasks which should be presented and
prioritizing the task according to the needs and requirement. It is because management believes

that this leads in assigning the tasks to the adequate team member. Therefore, leadership focuses
on knowing the task in comparison to this the role of the management is to review the work and
output of the organization (Maak et al., 2016). It is because of through this gap is identified and
precautions are taken to maintain efficiency in the organization. The management also focuses
on controlling the scope of the project he overall status and change management system is in the
hands of the management. The leadership provide guide while management focuses on
controlling the work and task which is performed by the organization (Ready, 2004).
Furthermore, leadership focuses on long term plans in comparison to this management focuses
on developing short term and long term project. The management focuses on developing vision
in comparison to this leadership concentrate on following the vision which is develop by the
organization (Maak et al., 2016). The role of the management is also to look at the present
situation and future situation and develop strategies accordingly; however, in comparison to this
leadership role is to implement the strategies. Furthermore, the manner in which enterprise
leaders can become social responsible leaders is discussed.
The enterprise leaders can become social responsible leaders by adopting the strategy of doing
something right now, in this leaders can perform work right now because social responsible
leaders believe that the leaders should perform work right work due to having right time to
conduct activities (Maccoby, 2000). The enterprise leaders would adopt the strategy of becoming
challenging because of setting the logic for the industry and focusing on analyzing the internal
and external environment so that various initiatives is taken to become challenging in the
competitive environment (Kotterman, 2006). Through , this enterprises leaders can understand
the negative effects in the internal and external business and support in developing the
organizational objective which provide support to the organization as well as also provide
support to the society. This includes aligning the organization objectives with the goals and
objectives of the society.
The enterprises leaders to become the social responsible leaders it should focuses on
understanding the rules and regulations which company should follow in overcoming the
challenges (Bonau, 2017). In this to become social responsible leaders, leader should use their
common sense and describe the strategy which will be considered more effective at particular
point of time to deal with the challenging outcomes and can increase the capability to become

competitive as well as to earn revenue in the long run. The social responsible leaders are the
leaders which see the other leaders and learn various skills and knowledge from them to increase
multi-tasking skills and to increase other skills (Rao & Tilt., 2016). Furthermore, to become the
social responsible leader the enterprise leader should understand the overall objective of the
organization in effective manner and contribute to all the social and economic challenges so that
it can gain competitive environment (Maccoby, 2000). The leaders support in guiding the
employee and at the same time maintain legality so that environment should be protected and it
can support the society as the whole. This social responsible leaders understand the actions in
highly effective manner and describe that their influence various types of stakeholders in the
organization.
From the above, it is estimated that leadership implement the strategies and policies in the
organization, however management develop it on timely manner. The management review the
performance in comparison to this leadership guide the employees to improve performance. The
investigation also describes that to become social responsible leaders the enterprise leaders
should concentrate on analyzing internal and external environment as well as can also define
objective which also contribute positively to the society.
