INTRODUCTION
Leadership is functions which is related to development of employees by providing vision
and defining their roles in firm which can aid enterprises in achieving its objective within the
time. This is a process which is depending on abilities and qualities of employees where it
has to use number of functions to perform in firm. In addition to this, the leader provides
direction to its staff member on how to achieve goal and objective of business organization in
an effective manner. Here leader also mage coordination between number of activates which
are performed in firm for development of employees and establishment of better
communication for sending information to all department of firm. There are number of
academic approaches which are trait theory, which stated that there are several believes
which shape a leaders carrier for advancement of its personal skills. Transformational theory
is also one of them, this theory says that a leader must innovative and adopts and implements
changes in firm according to needs of environment and firm culture (Car, L.T., Kyaw, B.M.
and Atun, R., 2018). There are much theory and which also states that leaders are not borne
but there are made by the time with lots of experience. In the context of this report to chosen
organtional is Tesco, it is a leading supermarket giant in UK where it sellers number of items
to large number of customer. In this essay there will be studied of different type of leadership
program which is attracted by NHS and will help ion development of leadership in firm.
There benefits will also be evaluated. The needs and importance of leadership and training
will also be considered here, which is associated with this study. Beside from this, the report

Leadership and management play an essential role for the success of the business
organisation. Leader focuses on encouraging the employees in order to accomplish objective
of the company in given period of time. Whereas, Manager emphasised on maintaining
appropriate plan of action to coordinate the various task and work of subordinates in order to
perform in better way. The main aim of both management and leadership is to offer suitable
services to its subordinates in order increase their performance level within business
organisation. Thus, it is necessary to coordinate various functions in relation of human
resources, marketing as well as human resource and so on. Apart from this, it is significant
for great leader to must be a great manager to win and it is important for manager to become
good leader to win. There are various models which describes the difference and similarities
between the leadership and management but both are interconnected to each other for the
success and growth of business organisation. In context of TESCO, it is the largest company
which is located in UK provide wide variety of products and services to its customer. Apart
from this, the manager focuses on managing the team member in such a way so that they can

Leadership
Leadership is determining as a process in which leader emphasised on motivating the
employees for accomplish goal in short span of time. In addition to this, they encourage them
to perform their work in better way. There is different leadership quality which is connected
to the management as well as some make it differ. Management is defined as origin of the
company which focuses on planning, organising, staffing and controlling the activities
perform within business organisation. In context of TESCO, the manager & leader of this
company use the participative leader style. They provide opportunities to its staffs to take part
in decision making process which will be advantageous for the success of business
organisation.
Management
Management signifies the process in which manager plan, organise, provide direction
and control the activities and function which is performed within the company. Apart from
this, they use the resources in an effective manner in order to achieve positive outcome. Also
they coordinate and communicate the work in such a manner that helps the employees in
performing their work in an efficient manner.
They management and leadership both plays an important role for the success of the
company. As per TESCO, the leader and manager make effective strategic decision in order

leader is important part of this theory this is because leader have to identify number of
opportunities which are going in business. The main focus of this theory is to identify the
