Management and operations are major practices of the business which regulated and
operated for the purpose of gain high profit in the market. The management is basically comes
under the administration of any business or company. It is completely responsible for manage all
operations within business environment. There are main functions of the management are
planning, organizing, staffing, controlling, and directing etc. the management is also responsible
for the decision-making. In which the top-level management at any firm need to take some
effective decisions for run all operations on a progressive path. Operations include all those
activities which a company cover for achieve its decided goals in the any market segment. These
all operations of the company are supervises by the management of the company. This is
discusses the management and operations of the Tesco.

Tesco is one of the leading British retail companies, headquarters in England, United
Kingdom. Currently the company mainly offers groceries, clothing, and consumer goods etc. in
13 countries, like; UK, Malaysia, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, etc. It has almost
6800 supermarkets and stores in these countries and other side 450,000 number of employees are
currently working in this organization. The Tesco following the hierarchical management
structure in their business operations. With this structure the management at the company is
smoothly giving their orders and commands in a systematic channel from the top-level
management to the lower level management.

Leadership is the quality of lead and inspire people or employees in the teamwork for
achieve common goal. In other side the leader is a person which embody leadership actions and
mindset (Aga, Noorderhaven and Vallejo, 2016). For effective leadership the leader always need

skills are very necessary for a person which want to be a good leader for their team.
