which is a retail business organisation that specialises in selling general merchandisers
and groceries to their customers within the retail markets of UK. Tesco was founded in
1919, 101 years ago and currently operates from its operational headquarters in
Hertfordshire, England. Having operated successfully within the retail industries of UK
for such a significantly long period of time has allowed Tesco to successfully grow and
expand its operations to international markets in order to diversify their operations and
increase their overall customer base, market share, productivity and profitability.
Currently Tesco operates around 6,800 distinct retail establishments in 11 different
countries around the world and employs around half a million distinct individuals at
