Introduction
The report throws light on analysis of the two respective articles along with critical
analysis of the same. The entire critical analysis is required to be done with conducting
literature review along with analysis of the examples from the previous job experiences. The
two articles describe about the different leadership theories and practices that has to be
adopted by the different companies along with the individuals in every aspects of the life.
The proper and accurate analysis of the leadership practices with proper emphasis on
different theories along with values will be described in order to understand and analyse the
assumptions along with the values that are presented in the articles and the relationship to the
different practices based on leadership.
The main aim and purpose of the entire report is to understand the different concepts
along with analysis of the entire literature with the proper view that is required to be provided
on the practical analysis of the respective leadership theories.
Lastly, the entire learning experience has to be identified from each of the two articles
along with analysing the viewpoints of the different authors for improving the leadership
experience in an effectual manner. The accurate conclusion has to be drawn in order to
analyse and understand the implications of the literature.
Critique
Arguments Raised by Authors in Both the Articles
In the first article that has been written by Storsletten and Jakobsen (2015), it has been
seen that the leadership theory has been linked to the leadership practice that is the authentic
leadership. Authentic leadership theory is one of the leadership theory that is new and this
helps in constructing the different behaviours, traits, styles along with the different skills that

assists in promoting the ethical and honest kind of behaviour and this will create positive
long-term outcomes. As commented by Antonakis and House (2014), authentic theory is the
one that helps in making the leaders more effective in nature and they will be made more
equipped to deal with the different organizational challenges. Dinh et al. (2014) has
commented that there are different kinds of applications of the authentic leadership style in
different organizations
On the other hand, the other article referred to the different kinds of leadership
theories along with styles that are used in different organizations. Peter (2018) has
commented that there are different kinds of leadership styles and the analysis has been done
in identifying the differences between the male and female leadership approaches. The
respective research compared between men and women transactional, Transformational and
Laissez-faire leadership styles.
The two articles contrasted wherein the first article mainly focused on one leadership
styles, on the other hand, the second article focused on the different male and female
leadership styles.

In the second article, the authors Silva and Mendis (2017) have discussed that there
has been provided on the theory on practice along with the implications of the authentic
theory approaches in the different phases of the work or in the professional fields. It has been
noticed that the different leadership development theories have been utilised as this helped in

manner. I tried to solve the issues of the members. I tried to follow the transformational
leadership approach that helped me in handling the grievances of the members effectively.

however I tried to solve the issues by analysing the issues in an effective manner and this
helped me in reducing the different hurdles appropriately. This was one such incident that
helped me in handling the team in an effective manner.
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded that leadership theories and approaches are essential in
nature in different kind of organizations in an effective manner. it has been noticed that the
organizations need to ascertain the different kinds of usage in different workforce. The
leadership approaches are essential in nature as this helps and assists in maximising the
efficiency to achieve the organizational objectives in an appropriate manner. Furthermore, it
has been noticed that the transformational leadership style helps in improving the entire
productivity of the organization along with increasing the emotional intelligence and grow
confidence in the team. The development of the leadership is crucial in the business as this
will help in growth of the business in order to maximise the growth of the business in an
effective manner.
It has been seen that employees in the organization who are women preferred the
transformational leadership approach that helps in achieving the organizational effectiveness
and solve the different issues in a much effective manner. Lastly, it has been noticed that the
organizational effectiveness existed as there is influence of the authentic leadership in the
organization and this helps in meeting the objectives in a much effectual along with
appropriate manner.
