REFLECTION
I have completed my graduation from Oxford University and received a degree in human
resource management. While studying I learned many things that what a human resource works,
how management and leader behave towards organizational goals and objectivities. As I was
studying, I got a chance of working in a Supermarket in placement as a management profile. A
new supermarket was going to open at a new location in the UK where I was responsible to
manage all functions and resources. I have approximately 20 members who were working with
me and understand their roles and responsibilities. I have considered being a great opportunity
for me to execute an analysis on the aspect of determining the influence of the concept of
sustainability over the supply chain management and increasing productivity of the organization.
I realized that customers facing the issue of selecting the right product at the right time as all
products were not arranged systematically. I share this issue with my team member and
formulate a strategy to arrange all products and services that could be easy for to people reach
and make buying decisions. Thus, I allocated the roles and responsibilities of employees as per
their skills which can help to manage organizational activities and functions. I was playing the
role of leader where I understood what problems faced by people in performing their roles and I
guided them to work accordingly. This activity helped me and my team member to handle the
project or store effectively.
To influence the number of customers and increase sales we have focused on digital
marketing and the quality of products that fill customer needs and encourage them to make the
right buying decision. This became most important for me to understand the problems of staff
and resolve them properly which helped me to handle all functions and activities. While working
in a supermarket I analyzed my skills and abilities as I was good in communication and
management and leadership skills which I used to understand the task and organize it properly.

Therefore, it is a wide area of research that helps me to enhance my skills and ability to execute
investigation work and also the suitable recognition about the specific study area. This study is
effective for me in enhancing my methodological knowledge provides me the direction to assist
the investigation in the right manner with the support of suitable methodologies. With the
analysis of the study, I have been seen that, in this particular work, quantitative research is being
implemented by the researcher, thus this provides a significant way to the investigation to
execute descriptive evaluation with the support of gathering numeric and statically information.
Understanding the role of leader and management could be a good opportunity for me as I would
get the best opportunity to work because of enough capability to handle multiple tasks at one
time.
