The theories executed in an organization are illustrated below:
Taylor 1911: Frederick Taylor is based on four principles of scientific management. On

globe. The four principles are mentioned beneath:
Science, Not Rule of Thumb: In this principles it is explained that both employer and
employees should not stuck to one set of routine or old method of working style. Instead of this
never ending experiment should be done for innovation and development so as to make the work
easy and quicker. Uber can adopt this principle in their working premises so as to satisfy client
demand in creative manner.
Harmony , Not Discord: Here, in this case it is stated that smooth working environment
should be provided to the staff members so that both them consider each other indispensable. By
this conflict and misconception and other issues can be eliminated between the two parties and
best results can be attained. Uber can use this principle as it is beneficial for both side.
Cooperation, Not Individualism: In this Tylor principle task performed by different
individual should be carried on with spirit of mutual cooperation. To meet expectation level of
outcomes both employees and employer need to work jointly. Uber by effectively following this
principle can attain miraculous outcomes (Hallinger and Hammad, 2019.).
Development of each and every person: In this principles of Taylorism best training is
provide to the co-workers in order to enrich their skills. Management of Uber can adopt this as in
this work is assigned to the drivers as their abilities in order to accomplish set standards.
Hersey- Blanchard model : This particular model suggest that there is no specific
leadership style which is better than other. This model came into existence in the year 1969 as
Life Cycle Theory Of Leadership. There are four different leadership style which are discussed

Delegating style: In this style leaders allow teammates to take responsibility for task
decision. It is delateg to those who are highly mature in Uber. Normally seniors are allowed to

take decision regarding driving to other unfamiliar route. In order to drop the customers at their
destination (McCaffery, 2018).
Participating style: In Hersey- Blanchard model this style illustrate that it emphasizes
more on share idea and decisions for better results. Uber top management adopts this for those
drivers who are experienced but lack confident to take new route for driving.
Selling style: Here, senior explain the task to the team in persuasive manner. Uber can
adopt this style for moderate followers. However, here drivers has the ability to work but are not
willing to do the job.
Telling style: Here, supervises work and leaders allot directions in order to attain goals
and objectives. Telling style is geared for low maturity people in Uber.
Taylor model is adopted by Uber in order to gain competitive advantages in the market.
Also, by this model drivers of Uber can be trained for better results in competitive world.
5) Examine several organizational and individual employee development need .
In order to survive in cut throat competitive world it is compulsory to develop both
employee and employer. Enhancement in both the side directly or indirectly help the
