Operation management is concerned with planning and organising production process in the
most efficient way. It is basically managing the resources that are required for producing goods
and services of an organisation (Hill and Hill, 2017). The present report is going to discuss the
impact of leaders and managers in Unilever, a British-Dutch consumer goods transnational
company headquartered in London, Netherlands and Rotterdam. A section of the report will
highlight the comparison between roles and characteristics of manager and leader. A range of
theories and approaches of leadership will be discuss in this section. Further, the section will
