The leadership and management is important for the success of the organisation. Leaders
are important because they helps in motivating and influencing the employees and managers are
important because they help the organisation in making strategies (Bush, Bell and Middlewood,
2019). The organisation chosen for the report is Zara and it was founded in 1974 in Spain. The
report includes the leadership of Zara and the process of making the organisation successful.
MAIN BODY
The vision and mission statements of Zara
Zara is the fashion retailer and they have products and they are the trend makers of the
industry. The mission of Zara to increase the satisfaction of customers by giving them what they
want and the organisation focuses on giving them faster. They want to increase the satisfaction of
customers and maintaining long term relationship with customers. They want to provide good
quality services to customers and they make new strategies to give them good experience. The
speed, confidence, creativity and innovation are the factors helping the organisation to achieve
success. They are making the strategies to increase the performance of the organisation by
understanding the needs of customers (Solomon, Costea and Nita, 2016).
The vision of Zara is to make the organisation the best fashion brand in the world and
giving custo9mers good experience. The focus of the organisation is to understanding the needs
of customers and give them good services and they are the trend makes and helps customers in
getting the products faster. They are focussing on helping employees and giving them knowledge
to improve the performance. They are giving good products to customers so that they feel that
the organisation is making strategies to give them good experience.
The transformational and transactional theories
The leadership in an organisation is important for influencing the behaviour of employees
in an organisation. They help the organisation in making strategies.
Transformational leadership- The transformational leadership focuses on improving
the performance of the employees. They have emphasized on leading by example and
helps the organisation in making strategies. The employees performance is important for
the success of the organisation.
