Servant leadership model tries to focus on the needs of the team members first, In other
words, a servant leader is one who will always try to think about the needs and demands of their
employees or their team members so that the overall team can function properly. In other words
the leader keeps the interests of his followers before himself and also before everything
Transformational leadership model is one where the leader tries to set proper examples
before the followers by supporting those at all possible times. In other words a transformational
leader is one who tries empowering his followers rather than imposing any views or any kinds of
opinions on them (Lockett, Amanda and Robert p.-60).
Autocratic leadership model is used when the leader has to show his or her control over
the employees as they often become very unruly. This is usually applicable in situation as when
there is no time left and the leaders have to take and implement the decision without wasting any
time.

Reflection
I have been able to learn a lot of things for this leadership model chart. I feel that it is
important to know all the different leadership models so that they can be used as and when
needed. In order to make sure that I am able to work as an ideal leader in the future years of my
profession, I will be following the servant leadership model. As per my perception, I will try to
make sure that I am giving more importance to the welfare interest of my team members rather
than thinking about my own benefits. This will surely help me in the long run to gain the trust of
all my team members (Robbins et al.). As their leader, I will try to mentor them for future and
also solve their issues with the best of my knowledge. However I am aware that at times the
Autocratic leadership style has to be followed. However I will use it only when I am working
with unskilled members and there is any urgent situation. Apart from this I will always try to
communicate with my team members and provide them the needed support all day long.
This in turn will be helping me to understand about the skill gaps or the issues that are
actually present among the team members. I will always try to work with loyalty and honesty so
that I can teach the same to my followers. As per my perception an ideal leader must take regular
feedbacks from his or her employees so that there is an effective or horizontal communication
system maintained and all the issues are resolved quickly.
