Reflection over two leadership models
In order to make improvement in the skills and capabilities, leadership models are
very helpful. As stated above, there are different type of leadership models which
can be used. In this context, I will make use of Four Framework Approach. This is
a type of approach in which there are four type of behavior which can be adopted
by me when different type of situations are faced by me (Evans, Stonehouse and
Campbell, 2012). This model will enable me to understand the type of behaviors
which I should adopt with the help of which issues and problems can be solved.
With this respect, following are the different type of behaviors which can be
adopted by me to over come the issue:
Political Framework
Structural Framework

Situational Leadership
Employees need to be analysed and as per their needs,
they should be supported or directed so that they will
perform properly (Aurambout, Sheth and Pettit, 2013). In
this leadership model following are four steps which will
be helpful for me to develop my experience:
Directing: This is a type of situation in which learner
do not have any idea to perform. Lot of direction is
provided but the support is less.
Coaching: In this stage, learner will understand with
the help of error and trial. In this case, the direction given
is low and support is high.

Supporting: This enables learner to become self
supporting. In this situation direction given is less and the
support is also less.
Delegation: The learner is provided with support and
direction as per the needs and requirement.
All these are helpful to me to understand employees
and provide them support and direction so that they will be
able to perform effectively.
