INTRODUCTION
They will manage the whole supply chain of company and they provide supply chain for
the manufacture, retailers in UK. Gist Limited are established in June 2001, and the company
headquarter in basing-toke, UK. In this Report, they identified the leadership style of that
company. They are influence with different factor, motivational theories, Effective team work,
relationship between team work and motivations.
THEORETICAL PERSPECTIVE
Leadership style in the organization
According to company, leadership style is a way that the person has some power to lead
others. It identifies that various types of leadership styles are available and it depends upon the
function of leader. Some Employee has lack of ability to take a responsibility and decision
making. The situation will help to identify the most effective interaction. There are different
types of leadership styles which are as follows:
1. Autocratic Leadership Style- This is the leadership style to hold all responsibilities and
taking their decisions. They are communicated with other employees to understand the
problem. In this type of leadership, policies, guideline all of an Autocratic Leadership
style.
Democratic Leadership Style- In this leadership style, they can hold the final responsibility.
They were communication between upward and downward. It is not preferred as the leadership
but they acquire some quality such as intelligence, fairness, honesty, competence, etc (Clarke and
et.al, 2016)
2. Strategic Leadership Style- The strategic leadership is one of the most important leaders
that are essetial part of the company. It is the top leadership style to create high
performance, handle team leader’s quality and taking some effective decision for
company’s profit. This leadership style will deliver good quality of services that are
helpful for the organization.
3. Team Leadership Style- It is a challenging part of leadership because it will maintain
the coordination in between employees. It can be developed a dynamic team member that
would fullfill the requirement of customer. It is a creative job to handle employee
coordination.

Rationale for the application of a specific leadership style
A leadership skills are unique approach to provide a right direction, implementing a new
plan, creating a new strategy, motivational, etc. (Miner, 2015). A leadership quality is very
important for any organization because Team leader control the whole team in an effective
manner. The effective leader should always be in confidence to provide the best quality of
approach.
Team leader has good quality skills to interact with the employees and innovate a new
idea (Conley, 2017). The team leader has ability to learn new thing and taking right decision at
right time. The good leader will always share their view points on specific topic. Honesty is also
an important quality when they achieve their targets.
The communication skills are required for any leader because with the help of this
quality, they will understand the requirement of employees. Team leader always put their efforts
to create a strong team because some times, the team are not fullfill the requirment of custome, it
is failure of leadership. Sometimes, there are many risks in business and this team leader will
help to make good decision. Leadership has a credibility quality and people follow according to
the team leader. It can be apply their skills in any situation and they are required for take the
lead. They are giving an instruction to their team member and group of organization.

According to leading people can be determine in different ways, there are three
approaches to defining the effective leadership quality as following:
The Leadership quality can be used for enhance their skills and that are helpful for
organization.
It can be analysis in which the leader is dealing with the critical situation and this
approach is the centre point of any leader and their behaviour of leader.
As per report, they will handle the company operation and apply their new approach
towards the business process.
Leadership is the ability to identify employee’s performance including their duties,
competencies and deadlines. This organization are faced many problems such as lack of

Business with the unmotivated people face many problem like low productivity issue and
less turnover rates (John Wiley, Sons.Taylor, Psotka and Legree, 2015). There are many theories
are help to explain the worker motivational and provide their best suggestion to increase their
ability. This theory are help to improve the small business and productivity rate. In the 1960,
Gists LTD proposed their own theories that related to the employee motivation and organization
management.
These theories are divide into two parts: First theory avoid the work culture and did not
like the responsibility of people. In this way, Employee need to follow all the rules and
regulation (Maak, Pless and Voegtlin, 2016). Second theory, Employee are putting some effort to
develop the new opportunity for employee and they will show their creativity towards the
organization. These theories are important because they will improve the whole organizational
profit level and increasing their productivity level.
Role of leadership in motivation
As per the company, they will find the new way to motivate their employee and
encourage their productivity and satisfaction. Manger will help to motivate him and they provide
the proper incentive, equal treatment. They can motivate their employee to provide the specific
goal. The main role of manager to planning a new strategy that would helpful for employee to
understand the need of client.
The Team leader understand requirement and it can be motivate to other employee in the
company. These motivatation are useful for company profit. In this way, they can be balanced
their work life (Fischer, 2016). As a leader, they must assess each employee responsibility and
determine the motivations. Fairness is very important factor because the firm can create a fair
system, benefits and encourage their employee. They also maintain the employee consistent
performance, capability and policies in their workplace. The organization must establish an
effective environment.

The team requires a various factors to understand how to assemble in efficient team, first point is
need to know factors affecting by teamwork is affected. The once know the various results of
team, you can begin to expect positive results from the team.
Focus on goals: According to GIST limited entity, a team is conducted by a common goal. If the
effective team is there, the common results always come out in advance, and all the teamwork
should understood in advance. Always put option in writing so everyone in teamwork can see the
goals and helps in toward accomplishing them.
Communication is Key: The communication is created by developing in different two methods
such as communication between team members and communicating from management to the
team. Always encourage the communicating power to communicate with each other. As per
conclude that in online communicate in this informal communication and professional
communication is handled.
Encourage Positive Attitudes: All team members, work together have positive impact same
thinking power and attitude must be there to create a good team to do work. If the team member
meet first time, firstly introduce to each other and encourage them.

team, and community team. So it's depend on team member how they work together appropriate
manner. In the team getting multi dimensional and thus multi discipline methods occur. This
approach encourages the staff with different types of skills and competencies, to connect and
explain your efforts. To establish different priorities, to concentrate financial resources, and
combined the knowledge of people those who are in the team and expertness also. They can have
greater impact on serious difficulty through your system efforts. In the great successfully team
there has no fear to discuss any idea without any hesitation to put their ideas if the idea were
wrong should be encourage the team people not to discourage them therefore, all this methods
are helpful to make a great team in the industry (Sheikh and et.al, 2013)

In order to collected relevant data and information various methodologies as well as sources are
being used. The information has been collected from different sources such as articles, journals
and books related to employee leadership and motivation. The data is collected through a
thorough research on managing employees in an organisation or company. Furthermore, the data
or information in this research is analysed by using both qualitative and quantitative analysis
method. In the present research quantitative research method will be used in orer to collect data
or information. The information will be gathered by a sample of employees who will be the part
of the interview which will be conducted by the researche(Smith and et.al, 2017)

There is a strong relationship between leadership and employee motivation, a leader is an
individual who motivate employees to perform and achieve success. There are various leadership
styles such as paternalistic, authoritarian, transformational, democratic etc (Tse, and et.al, 2018)
In order to collect and analyse impact of leadership on employee motivation effective
questionnaires are developed by researcher as mentioned below –

behaviour at work,3 out of 10 employees said no they do not think that did leadership style has
any impact on individual behaviour at work. Therefore it can be concluded that types of
leadership style has different impact on overall behavior of individuals working organization. it
can be positive or negative.
3. Factors influencing the effective team work within an organisation
Which is the most influencing factor that affects effective team work in an
organisation?

Interpretation –Another questionnaire developed in the interview to focus on various factors
effective teamwork within Gisp Limited. Question asked to was to identify most influencing
factor that effect teamwork within the organization. 4 out of 10 employees said that leaders
ability highly influence the effective teamwork. Three out of 10 employees said that

miscommunication is the most influencing effective teamwork. 2 employees said that conflicts
affect the effectiveness of the team. One employee lack of knowledge affect the effectiveness of
the team working in the organisation. This questionnaire prove that the ability of leaders has a
great impact on the working in the organisation.

Interpretation - The next questionnaire asked to the Employees was to identify relationship
between motivation and teamwork. The question was developed to collect information about the
views of the employees the impact of motivation on the performance of a team working in a
organisation.7 out of 10 employees agreed that motivation affect the performance of the team. To
employees disagreed the fact that motivation is affecting team performance. One of the
employees had no idea. Therefore it can be concluded that motivation among the employees has
a great influence performance while working in a team.
The questions asked in the interview conducted by the researcher help in collecting
important data or information regarding the impact of leadership styles employee motivation.
The interview also help in understanding how the leadership styles effect individual behaviour
within a workplace. Another information gathered from the above interview was related to the
most influencing factor affecting performance in the organization. Furthermore, between
motivation and teamwork is also identified by the question is developed in the interview.
Interview conducted by the researcher help in achieving knowledge and understanding with
respect to employee motivation and various leadership styles. It can be concluded with the
questionnaires that changing leadership styles such as democratic, autocratic etc can effect
motivation level of the employees working within the cited organization. Behaviour of each and
every individual working in the organisation also get affected by various leadership styles
followed by their managers and other seniors.

Recommendation and Conclusion
From this entire report it has been concluded that employees motivation plays a very significant
role within business for enhance the growth and performance of business. There is a significant
relationship between employees motivation and business performance. It has been also
concluded that effective leadership style helps to company in managing performance of
workforce. It is very important to adopt impressive style of leadership through which manager
and leader can effectively motivate and encourage personnel’s. The report identified the
leadership style of that company. They are influence with different factor, motivational theories,
Effective team work, relationship between team work and motivations.
Company should organize team activities and events for encourage its workforce through
which they perform in more effective manner. Organization should provide monetary and non
monetary rewards to its workforce through which they can encourage for higher performance
and productivity. Business should motivate personnel for tram working that aids them in obtain
high level of outcome of business. Furthermore company should understand employees
requirements regarding work within company. Company should develop healthy working
environment so as everyone can share their issues and problems with each other and collectively
carry out their work. Top management should invite employees in the business decision making
so as employees can feel important themselves and motivate for higher performance. Team
leader should conduct one to one conversation with subordinate so as they can understand their
issue regarding work and provide effective solutions.
