implemented in a proper manner and objectives are achieved effectively and timely (Graves and
Sarkis, 2018). Employee motivation is defined as the efforts put by a company in order to retain
its staff members and to motivate them to work with full zeal within the organisation. There is a
direct relationship among leadership and employee motivation as an effective leadership
motivate staff member to work effectively and appropriately. Along with this, leadership also
allow a company to delegate and make employees understanding the work due to which they
take full interest and focus on completion of assigned work timely. It is important for a company
to focus on ensuring that leadership is transfer effectively so that it can gain growth and success.
For the present study, Asda is taken into consideration. It is a British supermarket chain which
was developed in year 1949 and headquartered in Leeds, United Kingdom. The company has
presence in around 633 locations and has 1,50,000 approx. staff members which is one of its
main reason growth and success at marketplace. The main objective to conduct this study is to
gain insight about analyse the relationship between organizational leadership and employee
motivation within an organization.

The present study has been conducted to analyse the relationship between organizational
leadership and employee motivation within an organization. In addition to this, it helps company
in developing effective working and deal with the issue they are facing. One of the main problem
which will be addressed by conducting this investigation is find out relationship among
leadership and employee motivation. The present will contribute to gain insight about benefits
gained by an organisation due to effective relationship between organizational leadership and
employee motivation in an organization. In context to this, the researcher has developed aim,
research objectives and questions that will further support to gain maximum information and
develop valid conclusion. The proposed aim, objectives as well as questions is given below:
