REFLECTION REPORT
1. Two management situations requiring a change in management approach
As a human resource manager of global security systems, I have analysed the
capability of this company by identifying two management situations which need to resolve.
For this, I have used modified management styles to overcome two of the issues such as
conflicts arises between the majority of employees working in a similar field and another
problem is about retaining employees with the business (Al Mehrzi& Singh, 2016).
Above mention, two management situations were required changes by executing
management styles in resolving all these issues.
2. Describe the change executed
I have recommended the CEO of the company to implement an Autocratic leadership
style to resolve the conflicts arises among the multiple employees working in the company.
By using this style of leadership, a leader will take over the control of its team members in
assigning work according to its interests and complete the given work within the period (Lee,
Ong, Parmar&Amit, 2018).

Another issue faces by our entity is increasing the risk of losing all our existing
workers due to the emergence of new security system companies in New Zealand. As all
these new businesses offer a higher salary and work benefits to lure our employees. In
sustaining all the employees, we introduce rewards and incentives schemes to retain the
interest of all the employees with this company.
3. Describe how changes in the management style enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of
situations
Using autocratic leadership instead of charismatic style helps in reducing the conflicts
takes places at the workplace as employees get a fear of responsibility which was not present
in case of charismatic leadership style (Anantatmula& Webb, 2016).
Introducing rewards will enhance the productivity of all the workers as well the
company which was not present in the earlier period. In the past period, employees compete
with each other just for achieving their personal goals.
4. Explain two situations where management support was essential
In the case of conflicts among employees, an autocratic leader act as an arbitrator in
resolving the issues lies between employees by giving a chance to both the parties to defend
its case and then take a decision (Iqbal, Anwar &Haider, 2015).
In sustaining employees, a worker gets financial support and recognition in the company to
fulfil all its monetary as well as non-monetary goals.
5. What support and feedback provided
Autocratic leader provides mental and intellectual support to handle the workplace stress and
management announces rewards to offer financial support to sustain a worker.
6. How did support and feedback improve the productivity of all the employees?
Autocratic leader understands the personal issues of employees and then gives its
unanimous decision by explaining two of the parties not to commit the same. This will
enhance its workplace productivity (Diallo, Aoki, Aoyama & Watanabe, 2017).
To get rewards, an employee work with double speed to meet the targets before the time.
