Introduction
The claim for argument for this paper is determining whether the leadership has wide
impact on the organizational behavior of Company. It is considered that Leaders in
Woolworths Company used transformational leadership style to improve the Organizational
behavior. In this paper, research has been made to identify how leadership helps in increasing
the overall business outcomes.
Many studies argues that Transformational leadership style helps in setting up an
effective organizational behavior and assist employees to strengthen their work function. It
helps in creating synergy in the work process, aligning the interest of the employees with the
set organizational behavior. In order to divulge the key details on leadership impact on the
organizational behavior, we could use Woolworths Company (Premadevi, 2013). Leaders of
the Woolworths has used transformation leadership skills to positively influence employees
(Woolworth Company, 2019).The line managers of Woolworths Company motives
employees to accomplish set objectives and goals. These employees subdivided specific
objectives in general objectives and set targets for goals. Nonetheless, as suggested by
(Tavitiyaman, Weerakit, , & Ryan, 2014), it is argued that due to the high complexities and
high number of employees, Woolworths should use autocratic leadership to motivate
employees. This leadership style would be better as it would make ease for leaders to
influence employees in positive manner even if process functions and work is highly
complicated. In the whole analysis related to the Woolworths Company, it has been clearly
observed that they have adopted transformation leadership style and it is not that beneficial
for the organization because it has some advantages as well as disadvantages (Ronald, 2014)
Conclusion
The main advantage of it is related to influencing behavior of leaders to get the work
done from employees and disadvantages shows that leaders might face issues in using this
leadership style when there is complication in work and no set procedure is followed.
Therefore, it could be inferred that Woolworths Company could use Autocratic leadership to
maintain effective organizational behavior.
