INTRODUCTION
Academic skills are made up of core competences, such as presentation, writing and
referencing. The current assignment will be based on specific topic and that is leadership, which
put impact on employee performance and productivity.
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to, Samimi and et.al., (2020) leadership is defined as strategic concept that
help to enhance productivity and efficiency of individual. It is used as an art of moving and
motivating individual person to act toward achieving a mutual aim, which may achieve by taking
effective approaches into consideration. As a key source, leadership put positive impact on
worker’s productivity and their performance level. For example, it helps to provide appropriate
directions and guidance, which applicant may follow and consider in the context of goal
achievements. It affects in term of providing support in varied manners, for instance, with
appropriate leadership style leader may solve their employees issues and conflict at workplace.
Furthermore, they may take initiative to understand and determine their needs, which in return
enhance the motivational level of each candidate in unexpected manner, which is quite beneficial
for leader, organizations and workers as well.
Pereira and et.al., (2020) stated that leadership is set of activities, practices, actions and
decisions that has been taken in regard to employee well-fare. It influences workers in term of
boosting their morale, which is important to enhance as it help to drive their efforts and attention
towards making achievable commitments that contribute to increases sales, productivity and
operational efficiency of organizations that has been operated their ventures into specific sectors.
It can be said that a business leader has substantial effects on their individual worker
performance, by utilizing leadership they may play significant role in term of enhancing
motivational, morale and productivity level.
In view of, Sahibzada and et.al., (2020) leadership impact worker’s productivity and
performance in effective and influencing manner, which provides incredible outcomes. For
instance, it enables leader to take feedback from each candidate regarding their work, workplace
environment, co-worker’s behavior and nature towards them, etc. which lead to enhance
confidence level among people and let their work even better. Leader may conduct this activity

in regard to existing and new workforce that create positive and productive environment around
work areas where individual worker may perform independently and free from stress or any kind
of pressure that may impact negatively upon their productivity and efficiency. By taking reviews
in term of feedbacks from individual group members, leaders affect positive upon staff’s
productivity as it enhances commitment extent and also contribute to retain talented and
knowledgeable employees within a company forever.
It is one of the best motivational sources that has been utilized by many leaders to grab
excellent opportunities and enhance the progress of their organization. In the world of business,
there are different forms of leadership styles available that leaders use to manage the
performance and productivity of employees and venture. For example, situational leadership is
one of those effective forms that help leader to enhance staff performance and motivate them to
contribute in obtaining competitive edge. It drives the attempts of individual towards conducting
productive activities and allow to become an effective worker who always take initiative to
perform in any situation and stand as strong pillar in regard to their firm.
In opinion of, Rudolph, Murphy and Zacher, (2020) leadership is the most critical and
influential component of all companies. It made a person able to become effective leader who
have significant skills and experience to inspire and affect groups allowing organizations to
sustain smoothly and competently. It helps to improve ability of workers to succeed under
pressure and complex situation in business environment. It improved productivity and capability,
which is quite essential to enhance. It helps to enhance emotional intelligence, which is
important to improve as it made individual person able to give their hundred percent in the
context of achieving set goals. It can be said that leader may play crucial role in regard to
improve seriousness among people, which help to conduct practices seriously and allow
individual person to obtain desire outcomes. In recent time, leader face many challenges due to
diverse workforce at workplace, leadership is the only way or approach which they may utilize in
systematic, effective and ethical manner that help to improve creativeness and permit workers to
become an innovative person who through their creativity maximize profits margin and sales of
brands.

performance and their work as well as it creates barriers in process of achieving strategic
business objectives and goals and also leads to decrease productivity of each applicant, which is
not acceptable in any condition. When this component combines with unethical practices like
favoritism, it may affect negatively that lead to maximize employee absenteeism and high
employee turnover. Instead of creating positive working environment at workplace, it may
spread negativity in which no one expect to work for long, as it increases stress level, causes
depression and affect mental health of workers. Favoritism activity, conduct by leader while
using autocratic and other forms of leadership style, may put negative impact on employee’s
performance. For example, when leader take favor of specific team instead of hard working
group and always support them in term of increasing productivity and performance, then it leads
to create negative atmosphere around workplace, which drive the attention of people towards
switching job. Along with impacting staff, it also affects the performance of company and
decrease its operational efficiency, which create barriers in its growth, success and process of
becoming a market leader.
Olabode and Rufus, (2020) stated that bad leadership and its usage in inappropriate
manner may impact brand image in market and worker’s ability in regard to perform and achieve
each aim. It made leader and management unable to retain skilled, talented and knowledgeable
candidates who work from so long, and support to reach at global level by working extra, which
is incredible and not that easy to do. Bad leadership may lower worker morale, demotivate them
and minimize their productivity level. It increases high employee turnover, and decrease
capability to have any sustainable success. It may put negative impact on entire organizational
structure, because with suitable leadership style, leader sometimes become insensitive towards
applicant, they more concentrate on achieving set target more than worker’s encouragement and
creativity.
Prikshat, Rajesh and Rajaguru, (2020) argued that leadership plays a major role in
success and achieving success in a company. It helps to enhance job satisfaction that support to
retain people and gain the attention of new applicant who seeks to obtain great employment
opportunities and work with well reputed brand. Just like situational, democratic is also a
powerful and influencing leadership style that also affect in positive manner in term of increasing

worker’s performance, and motivation. It helps to produces more motivated and committed
candidates that eventually lead to maximize organizational performance and sales. It allows
leader to support people at workplace, by taking part in group activities and sharing their
personal experience as well as knowledge with them, which give inspiration to each candidate
and inspire to work hard or even better than last few weeks.
CONCLUSION
By summing up above discussion, it has been concluded that leadership play vital role
within companies as it has contributed to increase performance and productivity level of
workers.
