INTRODUCTION
Personal development can be defined as the process of those activities which enhances
the productivity of an individual. It undertakes several elements such as employment skill,
increasing consciousness, building wealth etc. It is essential for individuals to develop personal
attributes for helping them to achieve success of successful career development. The motive of
the present assignment is to understand the essential requirement of personal development of in
context of leadership and strategic management. For this assignment Harris Hall is the given
organization (Patel, Pettitt and Wilson, 2012). It works as a recruitment agency in which a senior
manager is hired to make effective strategic for the organization which is useful for leadership as
well as as personal development. In this task various types of topics are covered which includes
the knowledge skills, personal skills, objective for personal development need and plan.
Moreover factors impact on organizational vision, various benefits to tool that help to attain
organizational goal are discuss in this report.

Delegation: It is an essential skill for every manager to delegate their work with a

complete their goals with implement of creative techniques. Therefore it is important for them to

2012). For achieving organization vision and strategy an leader develops pathways such as
training and development, organization skills etc. that impacts on employee's performance. So
critical thinking helps them to overcome different issue that reduces organization productivity.

It is important for all organisation to deliver and communicate their vision with all stakeholders
that are related with operations and function of them. Some factors that impact on vision of
stakeholders are mention as follow:
Clarity: This is one of the main factor that impact on vision because it is important for them to
complete their goals with stakeholders as they are plays crucial role in organisation. Like
investors provides funds to complete the project. Therefore before start discussion with them it
is essential for strategic manager to clear their vision so it is easy for them to generate the
interest of them in organisational goals.
Lack of knowledge: Individuals who are accountable and responsible for interacting with
stakeholders need to know about the whole vision that is achieved by organisation. It

average skills which are performed by me is communication, time management, problem solving
& creative thinking process. So this skills which are at average level need to be improve by
taking necessary action such as guidance, training etc. which impact on the goals of the
organisation. On the other hand team work or coordination skill is at bad scale which governs
that is required a lot of efforts to improve the skills (Amran, Lee and Devi, 2014). So my main
focus is to evaluate most effective ideas such as team work in order to improve my coordination
skill. While on other perspective communication also plays a major role in formulating positive
relationship between stakeholders of the organisation. Therefore I started to make daily
conservation with different peoples that enhances my communication skill. Further to gain
strength in this skill I also started to reading different books, journals that boost my
communication skill. At last with the execution and follow up of personal development plan my
average and low skill will reach at good level as it is continuous process which help to build my
career at good level.
