A sound leadership system is needed for the overall welfare of any organization. As per my
perception, an ideal leader is one who must be able to support the needs and demands of their
employees at every point of time. As per my perception a leader must be empathetic in nature
and try to give the moral support to all his employees so that they can develop a kind of trust on
their leader. Transformational leadership is one of the most important leadership theories that I
have come across. However, I feel that in the modern day scenario the leaders must always try to
include their followers or their team members in all the business decision making process. This is
mainly because of the fact that in order to develop a unity among the team or the group, it is
really essential to get the ideas and the opinions from all the team members. However Hallman et
al. (2019) is of the opinion that might vest more power in the hands of the team members and
also the ones who are not well trained or properly experienced. In such cases there is the chance
that they might become unruly and disobedient. Fenning and Johnson (2016) has argued in the
similar context that imposing one’s own opinion and perceptions on others is not right as this
might hamper the moral and the understanding of the team members. As per my understanding I
will always try to set a proper example in front of all my team members. In my future career, I
will always take the ideas and the opinions of all my team members before taking any decision.
Kouzes and Posner’s (2009) best practices of leadership have really been very helpful. This is
because they help in making the concept of leadership much clear,. I feel that all the different

to connect my leadership philosophy based on the different findings that I got from my team
members, I made it a point that I take regular feedback from all my mentors and my team mates
as well so that I am able to use their opinion in shaping my own leadership philosophy for my
future years.

method of relationship building; I feel that participative leadership approach is also a very useful
approach that must be used in order to make sure that all the team members are being able to

diagram will be of a great help because it will help me to understand the step by step process of
proceeding in my leadership journey. I will also be able to highlight and mark the different areas

my team members; I try to take proper care of all the queries that are being raised by team
members so that I can also solve them at the right point of time.

in order to train all the different employees or the different team members, I have to assign them
the suitable role. I have realized that all the team members are unique in their own way and each
of them has their own areas of strength and weakness. Therefore I will never overburden them

support to make sure that they are able to cope up with their surroundings. I will give them that
work which suits their current skill set. However in order to match up with the recent trends in
the industry, I will have to ensure that all the employees are being able to improve themselves
and also upgrade themselves. In order to help the team embers to upgrade themselves, I will
always help them to develop themselves by gaining new insights. However I will help them with
the adaptability skill so that they are able to understand the need for developing this new skill set
and also the different ways in which they will be able to work over their respective areas of
improvement.

The issue that I had was that of indifferent discipline. This is one of the major issues because this
has a huge impact on the course that I was undertaking. I am a perfectionist by nature and I
always try to finish up all the work with proper perfection. However at the same time, I also
suffer from palpitation and I get very nervous. In the week 3, we had to complete all the given
assignments and this was at times really becoming tough for me as I could not maintain a calm
and organized mind. This indeed is one of the major issues and must be stooped immediately so
that I am able to work in a very organized and also in a peaceful manner. I have realized that

their home or working from the other distant or the overseas locations. These issues in turn had a
very bad impact on the overall working of the assignment. This is because of the fact that in
order to train my team members the proper handling of the technological tools and implements, I
