My leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in my years of Army experience. As a leader I always
believe in guiding my subordinates and taking personal responsibility of their learning in the
organization. I am extremely strict with them in order to prepare them for the real life battle that
lies ahead. I believe it is my duty and responsibility to invest time, resources and efforts into
subordinates. My aim is to see them as a leader that I am today. My peers are my friends whom I
immensely respect and care for. I have a lot of respect for my seniors who have trained me well
and guided me throughout my journey up until here.
As a leader, it is important that I possess and instil a can-do attitude because given the
responsibilities that the people trust us with, it is crucial that we are ready to face any challenges
without fear or attachment. I constantly try to remind my fellow officers about this responsibility
and that helps us in being fearless for the nation. The situations that we survive and the
environment that we live in, make it important for us to remain positive and motivated at all
times.
I have always fostered a good working environment where I try to instil transparent and open
communication among all. This helps in building trust and honesty. I am also always open to
criticism and willing to improve for the better. This is how I lead by example. My subordinates
can feel free to talk to me about anything without fearing consequences.
