The issue of health is very significant in the life of every individual in this world. There is
a great need for every person to have access to health facilities, both personal and public. Many
societies have health facilities which help in preventing and controlling different health problems
(Lotz et al, 2015, p. 220). There are scenarios which occur unexpectedly, causing a need for an
immediate course of action to be put in place in order to ensure the safety of people. In such
situations, different departments, organizations, as well as governments, need to intervene in
different ways in order to ensure that those who get fractures and injuries are treated (Okech and
Lelegwe, 2016, p. 218). Some situations are very crucial in that they need new personnel to work
together in order to secure the health and wellbeing of the members of society. This piece of
work will give a report on a plan which would be taken to identify and curb health problems,
including the steps and the possible challenges which can be faced in dealing with the situation.
Types of Health Problems to be Addressed
It is significant that the Lloyd George Health Board has several resource people who have
knowledge and skills in different fields. These include statisticians, epidemiologists, personal
assistant, and research assistants. All these people will be responsible for carrying out different

Therefore, the people of Oldport are facing the problem of getting sufficient food, considering
the fact that they have stopped getting relief food from the government and other organizations
and countries. This has caused a lot of risks to the public since they do not have the right kind of
food production which can sustain their livelihood. Diseases that are associated with
insufficiency of food such as marasmus are some of the health problems that these people are
likely to develop (Coulter et al, 2015). In addition, due to the insufficiency of food, the Oldport
public is facing the health problem of contracting diseases which are associated with imbalanced
diet. This includes such diseases such as kwashiorkor. This is a dangerous sickness which has the
potential of losing the life of the public of the Oldport.
In addition, the Oldport public has the risk of developing water-related health problems
such as dehydration. This is a condition where the body lacks sufficient fluids and water, making
it weak, skin turning yellow in color and hair changing its hardness and color. This means that
the public of Oldport has the risk of fainting severally due to the insufficiency of water in their
body and hence in their brain. These people also have the risk of having hygiene-related diseases
such as dysentery, diarrhea, typhoid, cholera as well as bilharzia. These health problems are
brought about by lack of water where the public lacks water which they can use in making
themselves clean (Ohtsuru et al, 2015, p. 490). If water is not available, these diseases are a
normal expectation as a problem that will occur among those who belong to this area (Simon and

Due to the fact that there are no health care facilities in the Oldport, there is a possibility

services are too far from them, there is a risk of the public losing most of their loved ones when a
health condition which is emergent occurs. There is a need to develop or construct a health care
center in the shortest time possible in order to ensure that the diseases that attack the public as an
emergency are addressed easily. Some diseases which can be easily treated in a small health care
center would be looked at in the highest kind of attention possible. This would be easy for the
public and avoid later complications which are associated with untreated health conditions.
To add on, the people of Oldport face the risk of developing psychological disorders such
as anxiety, stress and mental health diseases. This is because of lack of water. Research shows
that lack of water makes the brain fail to operate in the right way, most of the cases having a
headache (D’Andreamatteo et al, 2015, p. 1200). This has the risk of having some of the parts of
the brain malfunctioning or totally failing to operate. In addition, the issue of psychological
disorders may be because of thinking too much about their loved ones (Beck et al, 2017, 501).
For example, when some of the members of the society are killed and others develop injuries and
fractures, the other members of the community are forced to take an action even when they are
limited in terms of resources. When some resources are hard to be found, the members of the
public tend to undergo stress which is not recommended in a fair community. Anxiety can also
be developed due to the difficulties faced in seeking medical services.

actively in the different tasks that have been assigned to him or her. A study that was carried out

were involved in the decision making of the organization tended to have a higher performance
than those who were not involved actively.
Adoption of Recommendations by Stakeholders
In order to ensure that the various recommendations made by the various stakeholders are
adopted, a proper schedule will be made, having the plan on how to have them done. This
includes allocating time to each and every task. The different stakeholders would have different
recommendations and so they will be requiring a response. This would be done systematically,
considering the urgency of the adoption of the recommendations. The various stakeholders
would also be consulted closely when there is a misunderstanding or when clarity is highly
required. This will ensure that the recommendations are done very as per the expectations of the

ensure that the various recommendations are not affecting the health of the people of Oldport in a

inefficiently, involving ineffective methods and generating findings which are just cooked, the
overall effectiveness of the board would be affected negatively. Therefore, the specialists need to
be motivated in order to offer their tasks in an ethical way which is based on facts (Guillén,
Ferrero and Hoffman, 2015, p. 810).
Moreover, the study which will be conducted in order to gather relevant information
concerning the health problems of the people of Oldport may be characterized by unwilling
participants who may even give wrong information intentionally. This is a common problem

shortage of finances. Generally, the entire workforce would be planned and implemented well if
the facts on the situation on the targeted population are obtained and if the different specialists
are motivated both intrinsically and extrinsically.
