Plymouth Model
The respective model and concept is included as efficient tool and technique associated to
the critical thinking and this will consider range of strategies and plan that will support the
particular topic in effective and appropriate form (Guesmi and et. al., 2019). In Plymouth model,
there are diverse questions are asked as through it determine as well as evaluation will be
completed of each factors in efficient and better form. In particular model Plymouth model is
defined in reference to provided topic i.e. “You want to go on a holiday”, which is explained as
under:
1. Does the model clearly address the topic or issue?
Yes, Plymouth Model is crucial because it assist on addressing topic in better and
adequate form. the topic of respective report is “You want to go on a holiday”, in it, there are
divers components that require to be included as that will aid in concentrating for gaining
effective results like where, what, who, how, when, why and many more, After considering the
entire question an individual able to get appropriate associated to the topic. Through this, a
person can capable to analyse where an individual wants to go on a holiday, when they will go,
why they are going, with whom, how they are going etc.
2. Is the model readable, under stable with clear layout?
Yes, the Plymouth concept is acknowledgeable, readable with the clear layout as
particular model is categorised in to three sections such as analysis, description and evaluation.
These all factors are well formulated and it also enable in offering effective and clear answer of
questions. It will also assist a person in acknowledging topic effectively and it also helps in
collecting data in appropriate manner (Liu, 2019). By accepting and implementing this
conception, an individual associated able to get proper, readable and understand topic “You want
to go to holiday” that help in making effective determination and framing or improving plan.
3. Does the model clearly demonstrate three phases: description, analysis and evaluation?
The Plymouth model considers three main phases like analysis, description and
evaluation. In reference to acknowledge the topic that is “You want to go on a Holiday” an
individual demand to organise description connected to the holiday like what is the rationale,
where to go and many more. After that they require to measure the collected data in respect to

Yes, with the assistance of Plymouth model the respective task capable to accomplish in
efficient form as that will assist in analysing where the plan for going to holiday is appropriate or
not (Klein, Thu and Walther, 2018). Along with this, it will also crucial and enable in organising
and measuring each and every that will assist in determination devising associate to the holiday
in more adequate and appropriate manner.
TASK 4
Reflection on University experience
While organising my studies at the university I able to learn several things that assists me
in focusing developing successful and better career and it will also assist me in getting effective
job as per my knowledge and talent. Firstly, when i go to university I experienced different
problems and complexities cause of lack of abilities, skills and knowledge such as in the initial
phase I am not able to make communication with other whom I don’t effectively cause of which
no one want to interact with me. In addition to it, I also fee; sad as I determined that I need to
develop by respect ability because only through that I can make friends and make interaction
with others for any reason. Along with this, while organising the studies at the university I
capable to acknowledge that firm each student it is crucial to have education or academic
knowledge but along with it, they also require to have other abilities too. It is so as that extra
skills and competencies assist an individuating improving their image in the community in
efficient form.
At primarily when I went to university I was only good in studies because in school time I
basically not take participation in any actions (Meeuwis and et. al., 2018). So when I went to
university there are several programmes and sessions, festivals and events etc. are organised in
which each require to execute something, so, that time I understood that I need to have some
extra abilities. Along with this, I also able to determine that I have some abilities that are my
capability and that assist me organising work and task in better and adequate form. I capable to
analysed that I have efficient determination devising skill as once I was performing in a group
and we require to take determination on diverse components then at time I determine whole

circumstance and improve a determination by which our group able to get succeed in the task
efficient form.
While the team performs me also capable to determine that I have good technological
ability as when we are improving presentation I take accountability to form appearance and that
presentation is liked by each person of group and senior. This show that when an individual go to
university that have knowledge range of ups and downs that assist a person in acknowledging
that they must take challenges as well as get information about new things regularly as that will
assist in accomplishing expected aim and objective successfully (Platanakis and Urquhart, 2019).
Moreover, it will also beneficial to develop and enlarge successful career by getting most
effective job as per to the abilities and knowledge. At time of University I determine that seniors
and teacher are very supporting at the university as they both assist me in improving my abilities
and they also organise measurement and offer me response. Along with this, there are some of
my teachers and seniors who always provide me their support and help in organising project
effectively and timely by their guidance.
In context of acknowledgement of situation and experience of my university I can accept
range of models or concepts, in this project I have utilise and implemented Gibbs model that is
formulated by Graham Gibbs in the year 1988. This will basically offer framework that assist in
learning from the experience of an individual. It is also included as structure which s basically
utilised to determine the knowledge and offering its cyclic nature to lend them specifically
appropriately to replicate experience. Moreover it also permit a person to learn and plan from the
things that can either went well or it cannot go well (Stallings, 2018). There are range of phases
of Gibbs model and the description of them as under as per my experience at the University:
Depiction- This factor needs a genuine portrayal of the occurrence. In this phase, no end is
drawn; the attraction is on the data, that too which is essential. Some brief investigations are:
What happened? How could it occur? Where? When? Who else was there? Did somebody react?
How could they react? For what reason would an individual say they were there? What did an
individual do? What happened regarding the end? This improves the foundation and a superior
comprehension of the occurrence. Within this phase, I will organise determination of my
knowledge which is experienced in my university that will assist me in acknowledging my
capabilities as well as weaknesses in efficient form. Along with this, I also find out the situation

that assists me in determining I have some ability that is strengths and some that are my
weaknesses.
Feelings- Here any feeling considered during event is talked about. Questions such as, what did
an individual feel before the occurrence? During it? After it was everywhere? What does a
person think other felt? What does an individual feel about the incidence now? What does an
individual think others feel about it now? Assist answer this part precisely. For authors, it is
counselled to not make this part bombastic and talkative (Ban, El Karoui and Lim, 2018). In it, I
will determine feeling during the particular circumstance which I determined at the University
like when I help other in making effective determination and developing presentation and this
time everyone is to be grateful for me. I realise happiness as each individual is motivating
inspiring me. Apart from this, when at the preliminary phase when I am not capable to make
communication with other I feel very sad and lonely as I have very limited number of friends at
the university.
Evaluation- Objectively measures the situation. What performed out favourably? What did not?
What were the negatives and positives of the situation? How did an individual and other add to it
instantly and indirectly? For authors, this is civilized segment to consist assumptions and
references as they measures and moderate the incident. In this phase, I will organise
measurement of my knowledge in reference to analyse that which is effective and ineffective. It
is so as through it I can improve plan of actions and tools accordingly. Moreover, it will also
assist me in analysing when I experienced bad condition what the rationale is and how it can be
get over.
Analysis- consider about what may have protected or helped the situation. This part can be
developed by mentioning to an artistic article or a previous encounter, if needed to. Association
the suggestion and experience together (Dai and Wen, 2018). In the particular phase analysis will
be completed by me in context to analyse situation that make sense because as per to that I can
improve plan of actions and tactics. Along with this, it will also assist me in determining my
knowledge in effective form which directs to efficient determination devising.
Conclusion- Consider what an individual gained for the situation. What else might a accepting
to it better next time? How individually would an individual react on the off option that they
suffer a comparable situation once more? In the occasion that the outcomes were unfavourable,

model in which I require to analyse what i have learned by my knowledge and experience as well

form. For instance, at the initial phase of the university I am not making communication with
other that is wrong, as per I must interact with other from the initial (Bianchi, 2018). It is so
because by it I capable to gain information about more things which assist in my career
progression.
Action plan- This area administrates the arrangement of how to successfully deal with and
develop the situation upcoming duration. Any preparation, skill and tendency that can outfit an
individual with handling with the situation effectively on the off option that it occurs once more?
Is there something more to be academic for a great outcome? Determine the areas that require
work and grow to enlarge in them. It is the final phase f the Gibbs Model within I require a
action plan so that I can frame my effective future by developing or converting my weaknesses
in to strengths and also make development in my capabilities.
By implementing Gibbs model, I capable to make determination as well as acknowledge
my university experience in efficient form (Platanakis and Urquhart, 2020). Moreover, with the
assistance of it, I can also improve plan of action and strategies by which I can improve and
enlarge my weak capability and polish my skills and knowledge as that will assist me in
achieving my expected career aim and goals as well as target them in successful manner.
