INTRODUCTION
In this successful completion of a project an individual or company need to considered
several things which help them in conducting their work in effective manner. This will generally
happen because that will leads to accomplishment of work in proper manner. The respective
report is based on different model and analysis which help in understanding experiences and
strategies according to which further strategies can be developed. Topics include in this are
related to Plymouth model, personal reflection and action plan for the improvement.
TASK 3 - Plymouth Model
The respective model is considered as effective method related to the critical thinking and
this will include numbers of strategies which will support the specific topic in appropriate and
effective form (Chalk, 2020). In Plymouth Model there are several different questions are asked
because through it analysis as well as evaluation will be done of every aspect in effective and
appropriate manner. In respective model Plymouth model is addressed in respect of given topic
i.e. “You want to go on a holiday”, which is described below:-
1. Does the model clearly address the topic or issue?
Yes, Plymouth Model is effective as that help in addressing topic in effective and
appropriate manner. The topic of respective report is “You want to go on a holiday”, in this there
are several aspects which need to be considered as that will aid in addressing topic in effective
manner. Through respective model different questions will be addressed for getting appropriate
outcome such as where, what, who, how, when, why and many others. After addressing the
entire question a person able to get proper outcome related to the topic. Through this an
individual can able to determine where a person wants to go on a holiday, when they will go,
with whom, why they are going, how they are going and many more.
2. Is the model readable, understandable with clear layout?
Yes, the Plymouth model is understandable, readable with the clear layout as respective
model is classified into three sections i.e. analysis, description and evaluation. These all aspects
are well structured as well as it also help in providing proper and clear answer of questions. This
will also help an individual in understanding topic properly as well as it also help in gathering
information effectively (Atchesonand et. al., 2020). By adopting this, a person related able to get

proper, readable and understand topic “You want to go to a holiday” which help in taking proper
decision as well as developing plan.
3. Does the model clearly demonstrate three stages: description, analysis and evaluation?
The Plymouth model include three main stages i.e. analysis, evaluation and description.
In order to understand topic i.e. “You want to go on a holiday” a person need to conduct
description related to the holiday such as what is the reason, where to go and so on. After that
they need to evaluate the gathered information in order to take proper decision as well as at the
last they need to conduct evaluation in order to understand that whether the plan or strategy for
the holiday is appropriate or not.
4. Has the task been comprehensively attempted?
Yes, through Plymouth model the respective task able to attain in effective manner as that
will help he determining where the plan for going to holiday is effective or not. In addition to
this it will also help in conducting analysis and evaluation of each and every which will help in
decision making related to the holiday in effective as well as appropriate manner.
TASK 4 - Reflection report
Reflect on university experience
While conducting my studies at the university I able to learn numbers of things which
helps me in attaining developing successful and effective career as well as it will also help me in
getting appropriate job according to my talent and knowledge (Gardner, 2020). At first when I go
to university I experienced several issues due to lack of skills, knowledge and abilities such as in
the initial stage I am not able to communicate with other whom I don’t properly due to which no
one want to interact with me. Along with this I also feel sad because I didn’t have numbers of
friends to whom I can discuss my issues and problem. So after sometime I decided that I need to
improve my respective skill because only through that I can make friends as well as interact with
others for any reason. In addition to this, while conducting the studies at the university I able to
understand that for every student it is essential to have education or academic knowledge but
along with this, they also need to have other skills too. This is so because that extra skill and
abilities help a person in developing their image in the society in effective manner. In first when

I went to university I was only good in studies because in school time I generally not take
participation in any activities. So when I went to university there are numbers of programmes,
festivals and events are conducted in which everyone need to perform something so that time I
realized that I need to have some extra skills. In addition to this I also able to analyze that I have
some skills which are my strengths and that help me in conducting work in effective as well as
appropriate manner. I able to determined that I have effective decision making skill because once
I was working in a team and we need to take decision on different factors then at time I analyze
whole situation and develop a decision through which our team able to get succeed in the project
effective manner. While the team works me also able to analyze that I have good technological
skill because when we are developing presentation I take responsibility to make presentation and
that presentation is liked by every member of team as well as senior. This show that when a
person go to university that experienced numbers of ups and downs which help a person in
understanding that they must take challenges as well as learn new things regularly because that
will help in attaining desire goal as well as objectives successfully. Moreover it will also help in
developing successful career by getting most appropriate job according to the skills, abilities and
knowledge(Young, 2020). During the university I analyze that seniors as well as teacher are very
supporting at the university because they both help me in developing my skills as well as they
also conduct evaluation and provide me feedback. In addition to this there are some of my
teachers as well as seniors who always support me as well as help in conducting project properly
and on time by their guidance. In order to understand situation and experience of my university I
can adopt numbers of models or theories, in thus project I have used Gibbs model which is
developed by Graham Gibbs in the year 1988.Thus will generally provide structure which help in
learning from the experience of a person. It is also considered as framework which is generally
used to examine the experience as well as providing its cyclic nature to lend them particularly
effectively to repeat experience. Moreover it also allow a person to learn as well as plan from the
things which can either went well or it can’t go well. There are several stages of Gibbs model
which is explained below according to my experience at the university -
 Depiction - This component requires a genuine portrayal of the occurrence. In respect
phase decision will be develop according to the data which is gathered by management as
well as that is relevant to the company’s condition. In this an individual need to answer
several questions such as what happened at particular situation? How could it take place?

When and where it happen? Who are involved in it? Did anyone respond to situation?
How other respond? What reason a person say that things? and many more (Liand et. al.,
2020). At this stage I will conduct analysis of my experience which is experienced in my
university that will help me in understanding my strengths as well as weaknesses in
effective manner. In addition to this I also identify the situation that helps me in
analyzing I have some skill which is strengths and some that are my weaknesses.
 Feelings - Here any feeling felt during the episode is talked about. Questions like, what
did a personfeel before the occurrence? During it? After it was everywhere? What does a
person think others felt? What does a person feel about the occurrence now? What does a
person think others feel about it now? Helps answer this part precisely. For authors, it’s
advised to not make this part longwinded and loquacious. In this I will analyze feeling
during the specific situation which I experienced at the university such as when I help
everyone in taking decision as well as developing presentation and at time everyone is
appreciating me, I feel very happy because every person is encouraging me. On the other
hand when at the initial stage when I am not able to communicate with other I feel very
sad and lonely because I have very limited friends at the university.
 Evaluation - Independently assess the situation. What worked out positively? What
didn't? In this what are the positive as well as negative situation of specific factor? How
did a person and the others add to it (decidedly or contrarily)(Markkanenand et. al.,
2020). For management, this is a decent aspect to include speculations and references as
they assess and judge the episode. At respective stage I will conduct evaluation of my
experienced in order to determine which is good as well as which is bad. It is so because
through it I can develop strategies and plans accordingly. Moreover it will also help me in
determining when I experienced bad situation what the reason is and how it can be
overcome.
 Analysis - Think about what may have prevented or helped the circumstance. This part
can be improved by referencing to an artistic article (for essayists) or a past encounter, if
necessary to. Connection the hypothesis and experience together. In the respective stage
analysis will be done by me in order to determine situation which make sense because
according to that I can develop strategies as well as plan. In addition to this it will also

help me in analyzing my experiences in effective manner which leads to effective
decision making.
 Conclusion – Consider what a person gained from the situation. What else might a person
be able to have done in specific condition? What aptitudes will aid a person with adapting
to it better next time? How distinctively would a person respond on the off chance that
they face a comparable incident once more? In the event that the outcomes were negative,
how might a person dodge that? On the off chance that the results were certain, how
might a person improve it for them and every other person?(Hindrasti, 2020).It is second
last stage of the Gibbs model in which I need to determine what I have learned through
my experienced as well as in what situation I can conduct work differently so that it will
result in the better way. For example at the starting of the university I am not
communicating with other which is wrong, according to me I must interact with other
from the starting. This is so because through it I able to learn more things which help in
my career succession.
 Action plan: This territory manages the arrangement of how to successfully deal with and
improve the circumstance next time. Any preparation, ability, or propensity that can
outfit a person with dealing with the circumstance better on the off chance that it happens
once more? Is there something more to be scholarly for a superior result? Work out the
regions that need work and flourish to improve in them (Crehanand Scott, 2020). It is the
last stage of the Gibbs model in which I need to develop an action plan so that I can
create my better future by improving my weaknesses as well as by polishing my
strengths.
By adopting Gibbs model me able to analysis as well as understand my university
experience in effective manner. moreover through it I can also develop strategies and plans
through which I can enhance my weak skill as well as polish my strengths as that will help me in
attaining my desire career goal as well as target in successfully manner.

Action plan
1. Is there a clear goal or objective of the plan?
Yes there is a clear goal or objective of developing plan as I want to enhance my some
skills in which I am lacking behind. Those skills are communication skill as well as extra
curriculum activities. I want to improve these skills so that I can perform effective at the
university as well as it will also help me in getting high score which leads to successful career.
2. Did the plan identify how the goals/objectives will be achieved?
Yes action plan will include the strategy through which my goal or objective will be
attain such as for enhancing communication skill I will attain session as well as I will also take
more parts in interactive activities. Moreover for enhancing curriculum activities I will try to
take part in more and more activities as well as I also join some classes like drama, dance, and
debate and so on.
3. Has the plan identified what it would require in order to achieve the goal/objectives?
Yes, plan help me in identifying what is required for accomplishing goals and objectives.
Thus, my goals are to enhance my communication as well as curriculum activities in order to
accomplish better future opportunities in effective manner. Because these are basic skills which
required at each and every level of professional life.
4. What resources will be needed to achieve the goals/Objectives?
There is requirement of several resources for accomplishing objectives such as in relation
of communication skills it is important for me to take participation in presentation, group
discussion and join online classes which teach how to develop communication skills. On the
other hand, for enhancing extra curriculum activities I have to join both online an offline classes
because these will help me in enhancing my extra curriculum activities in more effective manner.
5. Is there a period for achieving goals and objectives?
Yes the duration which I set to attain my goal and objective is 8 months in first I will take
classes for enhancing my both weak skills.

6. Evaluation of the plan (How do you know you are making progress?)
By conducting own analysis on timely basis I will be able to know that my
communication and extra curriculum activities are enhancing or not in effective manner. Along
with this, I will consult my superiors who were involved with me in entire program for asking
that is there any improvement or not.
7. What would you use to judge that your goals/objectives have been accomplished?
By conducting skill audit, I will be able analyze my goals as well an objective in better
manner. This is the best way of judging that my skills have been enhanced or not.
CONCLUSION
By conducting analysis of above mentioned topics it can be determined that for an
individual it is essential to conduct analysis of situation which they experienced because that will
help them in understanding their strengths and weaknesses. For which they may adopt numbers
of models or strategies such as Plymouth model and Gibbs model. Through this a person can
understand their strength and weakness according to which they need to develop action plan for
the improvement effectively.
