Lewin’s leadership style
• This leadership style was developed by Kurt Lewin in
the year 1939.
• This leadership style set is with different leadership
styles such as Autocratic leadership style, Participative
leadership style, and Lasissez-faire leadership style.
• In terms of Autocratic leadership style, the leader
makes the decision independently.
• The leader only gives orders to the followers to
accomplish the task.
• They do not involve the employees in decisions
making. In terms of participative leadership style, the
leaders are involved by the followers and take their
opinion in terms of completing the task (Chou, 2012).
• They also encourage the followers towards their work.
Laisissez-faire leadership where the leader do not
guide the team members the decision is left upon
them.
