INTRODUCTION
Organizational leadership and behaviour help to shape an effective team at workplace and
solve any issue in effective manner. The current assignment will divided into two parts, and
present in form of reflective essay. Part one will explain specific leadership style,
principles/leadership that will not be willing to breach and affect of personal beliefs on particular
leadership style as well as experience that informed it. Furthermore, part 2 in this study will
justify leadership issue that needs to solve, overview of it and appropriate ways to solve and
handle identified situation.
PART A
A) My leadership style
It can be said that a leadership style is leader’s approach of providing guidance,
suggestions, implementing crucial plans and motivating workers. I would like to say that just like
other leaders, I also have an effective leadership style and that is situational. It is an adaptive
form of leadership, this approach helps encourages me to take action to take my team members,
weigh different variables in workplace and select leadership form that appropriately suites their
aims and suitable for specific situation. My leadership style is flexible, it allow me to analyse
overall situation at work area or within company, which make me capable to handle
circumstances effectively. It is not based on a particular skill of individual. One of the best things
about my chosen leadership style is that its adaptability. With this form I can adjust the way I
work and act towards specific issue and adjust my style to fit development level of workers I try
to influence.
With this approach I can direct my team, give directions, supports them and drive
towards achieving common goals and set objectives, which is really very essential for me as well
as organization success (Wright, 2017).
B) Leadership/principles that I would not be willing to violate
There are so many principles accessible in world of business, which I never violate as a
leader. For example, being in moment is one of the key principles that means I will fully
engaged, physically and mentally in what I am doing, whether listening to a team member or
working a specific task such as making skills development plan for staff. I will follow all the
principles, for instance concentrate on workers more than wider work area environment, which is
actually necessary for me to do. Be humanistic and authentic is another principle which I also

never violate in my professional as well as personal career (Darabigi and et.al., 2019). Being an
authentic leader means being genuine and real with all my workers in all situations that affect on
its performance in positive manner. When I am authentic, I say what I mean what I think and
believe about other work and mean what I say, outside and inside of meetings. I will know as
being consistent and honest leader. When I will be honest with my employees, it will motivate
each applicant to work and perform even better.
C) Impact of personal beliefs on my leadership approach
Personal beliefs and values are wider aims that represent what is essential to someone, it
can be said that beliefs are personal though constructs that individual apply to themselves and
others as well as people around them (Hallinger and et.al., 2018). I can say that my personal
beliefs can help to guide my decision and behaviour I make. It impact on my situational
leadership style in positive manner as make me realize that I need to recognize growth of my
staff members and other people as well who are working at same place where I play my role. It
analysed that Inclusiveness and religious plays crucial and dominant roles in my leadership
approach. Job and work related judgment mirrored personal orientations and values. Personal
beliefs are highly shaped by culture and religion; I tend to express my beliefs and values through
leadership. As part of my personal beliefs, I always try to motivate my team mates and other
applicants as well because it makes them feel comfortable at workplace while doing task which
work magically. As a leader I have to make many decisions those that affect only me and those
that influence many others in positive manner.
D) Key experiences that have informed my leadership approach
There are so many experiences I had feel while that informed my situational leadership
approach. For example, when I am working in a team me and my team members are facing some
issues related to dividing work or task, at that movement I decided to indentify each candidate
skills and gather information about their knowledge as well which makes the capable to divide
work accordingly. So, it can be said that this is one of my first experience which effectively
informed my leadership style and allow me to find out appropriate suggestion or solution
according to circumstances. Another situation where I experience something new and different
and that direct informed my leadership style. Training and developing newer team members is
other situation where I experience how to manage performance of staff and what methods I can
use. Before providing training session, I had listen to what employees needs and what are their

requirements. All above experiences actively informed situational leadership approach and
permit me to strengthen workforce. These would make able to work effectively and handle
overall situations.
PART B
A) Determine a key leadership problem in my company to make effective decision
Failure to communicate is my leadership problem in my company that requires to make
critical judgment. In current time, business world needs leaders and seniors to be capable to
communicate on different levels. Effective communication at workplace playing vital role in
building positive working environment, which is really very essential and beneficial. For
instance, individual have to develop a clear vision and persuade their team to make it his or her
vision too. Without effective communication and interaction leader and any other people cannot
be able to work effectively. I faced this issue in my past that impact on my work and
performance in negative manner. This problem needs appropriate and relevant decision that
provides positive outcomes and help to obtain desire results.
Leadership issues always affect current and further activities if it is has not solved by
applying right solutions. Good communication make person stronger and strengthen them as they
can build strong connection with other. This past issue can be effectively solved and all its
negative affect can be vanished away as it need just one solution. (Pietraszewski, 2020).
B) Brief overview of problem, to contextualize it
It can be said that effective and good communication is so hard because it takes
commitment and trust which is not possible for every person to do. In my past, while working in
organization I has been failed to communicate with my team member, that has affect my role and
responsibilities. I analysed that communication in work area is quite essential for my company to
work effectively and be productive. Lack of communication in organization can create conflict
and issues in relationship. Stress and tension developed in working relation can usually lead to
poor operational outcomes and low morale, affecting performance and productivity.
Communication is part of positive work environment; it makes everyone feel stress free and
energetic. Failure of communication issue can outcome in high frustration, friction, confusion
and an extremely tense circumstance wherein workers are not motivated to be effective and
productive as well as are not encouraged to collaborate. Without good communication I also feel
that I have not been able to share my point of view with other and convey basic information.

C) What would have done as a leader in specific situation
Everyone situation can be handled and managed by applying appropriate solution, which
help to provide and obtain desire outcomes. In context of above issue or situation, I would have
to enhance my communication skills rather than before because it permit me to build strong
relation with my employees, seniors and other. I would take suggestions from my seniors that
allow me to improve my communication ability and make me capable to share important
information with other as well. I need to actively listen what other says about working
environment and opinions as well as their own issues. In regard to lack of communication as my
leadership issue, I can learn and analyse other strengths which allow me to identify how they
communication and use approach for it. It can be said that by applying all these methods and
consider new one as well I can handle this situations in effective and systematic manner.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that by using personal experience and making
effective decisions based on situational analysis as a leader I effectively solve my leadership
problem that enhancing productivity and profitability even better. It has been summarized that I
has successful managed and handled situation.
