1. (a) Project managers are considered as one of the effective members of every project
managers. Hence the responsibility of the project managers is to ensure that proper leadership
qualities are being implemented among the members so that the project can be executed
successfully. Effective project manager should possess certain qualities that can enhance the
performance of a project. Each project manager should be responsible enough so that they can
motivate the employees so that project can be delivered successfully1. This ensures that the tasks
will be managed properly and all the requirements are fulfilled successfully.
The project manager is the one who is responsible for designing the blue print of the
project and ensures that all phases are executed successfully within the project. The project
schedule and budget is also designed by the project manager after discussing with the team
members and with the customers. It is essential to identify the key requirements at the early stage
so that the project can be delivered properly within the discussed time. For an effective leader it
becomes essential to ensure that proper communication is carried out between the team members
and leaders so that each aspects can be made clear towards the team members2. The leadership
style varies from project to project and also depends on the behavior of the project manager.
Thus it becomes essential for every project manager to ensure that they adapt their leadership
style based on the needs of the project and the customers. The qualities that are essential for

With the help of an effective project manager it becomes easy to achieve the goal as they

targets are determined successfully so that the project execution becomes easier4. The key
benefits that are offered with the help of an effective project manager are that it ensures that all
the risks are aligned properly so that with the help of proper strategies it becomes easy to reduce
the risks that may arise within the project5. Moreover the efficient project managers are
responsible for building a flexible team with high engagement. An efficient project manager has
the potential to deliver the project within the deadline and ensures that all the requirements are
being fulfilled while delivering the project. The team member’s engagement is also considered as
an essential components while managing a project.
(b) In project management every member plays a crucial role. The planner and programmer are
responsible for planning the resources and activities that are needed for carrying out a project.
The aim of the project planner is to plan the project activities and focuses on tracking the project
performance. The planner is also equally responsible for estimating the cost and ensures that
proper tracking is maintained while managing the project6. Project planners is essential as they
focuses on delivering the project by ensuring that all components have been addressed properly.

There are certain qualities that are necessary to be present within the planner while
carrying out a project as this qualities helps in boosting the project. The project planner needs to
have proper knowledge regarding the project and should ensure that the performance has
remained stable throughout the execution phases. The qualities that are essential for becoming an
effective planners are listed below:
 The planner should have a good communication skills so that it becomes easy to
communicate with the team members regarding the project.
 The technical knowledge should be clear so that the planning can be performed properly.
 The plan needs to be designed properly so that it can increase the profit.
 The planner needs to be flexible enough so that the project can be implemented with the
new changes requested by the customers.
This characteristics are highly expected from the project planner as they are responsible
for planning the project efficiently. They also ensures that the different components related to
the project are organized effectively for the purpose of meeting the needs of the customers.

accordingly.
 The programmer should have the high end user focus so that the project can be delivered
effectively.

become easy to plan the project and the scheduling will become effective. The above mentioned
qualities are essential for every project programmers as this ensures that the performance will
