Discussion 1
Self-awareness is my one area of strength which helps me when I am communicating with
others. It helps in analyzing the strengths which I have to utilize while speaking and the
weaknesses on which I have to work on. The area of development can be the weaknesses which I
have when it comes to speak in front of people. I will have to overcome my weaknesses for a
better communication. For building my self- awareness, I will ask for the feedback from friends,
family and colleague. I will exercise the personality test and do meditation and mindfulness
activities. Apart from this, writing the goals and priorities will help me in achieving self-
reflection. The weakness which I have is public speaking as I hesitate to speak in public
confidently even though I have good communication skills. I will improve my weakness of
public speaking by over-communicating with the people and asking for an honest feedback and
working upon that feedback to convert it into a successful outcome. In public speaking, it is
essential that the personality comes out in front of people and I will do the same to enhance my
public speaking skills.

For building the strength of Justin, I would suggest to become more organized and neglect the
negative aspects by focusing on the positive things which Justin has. Justin should be more
focused on being organized and analytical when it comes to take a decision. Further, in order to
become a better leader, Justin should improve the weakness of working in team environment. It
is very beneficial and fruitful to work in team because it helps in sharing the tasks and will be
more fun as well. This can only be possible if the team members are focused and have the same
goal. I would recommend Justin to be trustworthy towards the team members as these will be the
people who will lead towards achieving a goal. Apart from this, Justin should focus on doing
interactions with the people without being distracted. In this way, Justin can overcome the
weakness of social interaction by getting involved into social activities and speaking with the
people. Justin should also work in team and should understand the importance of team by
trusting the other teammates and having patience throughout the work. It can reduce the
workload and will enhance the productivity of the task.

recommend to be patient in order to overcome the weakness of impatience which can make
Janette a better leader. Impatience can lead to dissatisfaction and will also lead to lose of
motivation. Rather it can destroy the relationship with others and can also cause physical harm
and is a big hindrance in achieving success. I would recommend Janette to do meditation and
exercise to remove impatience level in his behavior as it will have a better impact on others and

taking deep breaths, manage the emotions and stop doing the things which have less importance.

plan in order to complete the project. I would use an organized approach to prepare schedules

avoid them. My creativity and communication skills will help me throughout the journey. Strong
leadership skills, technical expertise and team handling skills will help in leading a project which
is strong leadership skill that are necessary for a project manager to have. The leadership and
management go together. Good leadership skills lead a person towards proper managing of team.
Therefore it is essential for me to enhance my communication and influencing skills and the
