Baldrige Core Values
The Baldrige Core Values play very critical roles in defining quality. Quality in this
context does not only involve the physicality of products but also excellence in other output
processes. According to Macdonald et al. (2016), Spetzler et al. (2016) and Doherty et al. (2015),
quality is the mindset that human beings acquire and is a crucial aspect in improving their
productivity. Human quality is therefore determined by an individual’s altitude. Organizations
and individuals should therefore consider quality attributes if they have to improve their business
productivity.
As I began this course, the Baldridge quality values were a secret to me. In fact, I
had no idea about the existence of such quality values. With time, I have got to
understand how these values work. They have shed light in understanding the core
values and principles required in the job field. I have also gained further
information pertaining to these values for the time I have been in Baldridge.
Reflection
This paper provides a new perspective on the quality values since I have had
enough time to understand each of them. I have also gained information on the
importance of such values. Besides understanding the importance of these values, I
have also understood how they can be applied in different settings and specifically
how I have been able to apply them in my current position as an organizational
leader.
Through the Baldridge framework, I have been able to understand a lot
especially on how leaders perceive different quality performance in their
organizations. Besides just leading other employees in an organization, I have also

influenced my perception on how to acquire and implement quality values in
business leadership. Every business organization should implement these values
while considering both its individuals and the success of the business.
SWOT and Pestle analysis have been two methods of measuring business
success for a long period of time. Since the Baldrige criteria and excellence
framework offers the quality values that leaders need to have to manage a better
analysis, I believe that I will be able to manage such analysis in my future carrier.

business management processes are wholly unified. To achieve this, the framework
has helped me to enhance plans, processes, actions, and measures that are efficient

Baldrige framework provides all the qualities required for management. In addition,
Baldrige framework is a scoring framework that has aided me in achieving missions
