INTRODUCTION
Leadership is defined to be one of the prominent aspects other in a business or an educational
scenario. Leadership is necessary in order to move ahead with the conditions as well as the
formulations to lead the team as well as to bring about a variation such that people will get to
understand different ideologies and the perspective can be enhanced (Harris and Jones, 2018).
One may not be able to identify the choices that are in regard to leadership at the circumstances
that can be portrayed upon bringing about the results that are oriented with leadership.
Leadership is like an abode that will bring about a lot of opportunities that are in regard to
maintaining a standard for the organisation as well as for the individual development. This entire
report will bring about the reflection towards the leadership upon personal development and the
qualities that will have to be improved upon bringing about a good leadership facility. All the
components that are a part of leadership or highlighted in the report with prior importance that is
given to every quality. The organisation in which I have been working is Tesco. Tesco is one of
the largest retailers in the United Kingdom that supplies groceries and also all the requirements.
MAIN BODY
Case: Working in the Tesco company as a project lead has made me analyse factors that will
reflect upon deriving means. This has improved my personification and I have identified that the
there are certain areas where I will have to develop my leadership skills.
Scenario: the industry is a retailing one and I have been appointed as the sales lead that will have
to take responsibility over the sales prospect of the organisation. to deal with this procedure there
are certain qualities that I will have to possess by being a leader. Few may not be even included
and that will ensure to be the ones that can be improved upon.
Complexities in leadership
As a team lead and taking up necessary steps to derive means I have faced certain complexities
that have paved way into the learning things. There are certain complexities that will fall in
regard to maintaining the qualities of leadership. The person who is dealing with leadership will
first have to continue being a process oriented personality that will be interactive over different
phenomenal aspects. In this regard reflecting upon my complexity is that will determine the
leadership qualities within my knowledge will include the focus that I usually put over the
circumstances maintaining interaction with the subordinates (Castillo and Hallinger, 2018).
Treating subordinates as somebody who would bring about different results that are oriented

with the work that a stipulated in the organisation is one of the quality that I usually in by. In this
regard the complexity that I usually face is the term interaction. Interaction is derived to be the
set of components that will highlight the feasible measures upon discussing the aspects that will
have to be worked upon. In an organisation this interaction plays a major role and with regard to
leadership this is also defined to be one of the stature which will have to be sharpened. My social
interaction is brought about by the network that I am dealing with and being a senior executive in
the organisation and looking after all the project orientation as well as the changes that will have
to be made in the organisation this ended terms to be one of the complex measure maintaining
the leadership behaviour (Bush and et.al, 2019). Although the team performance is not up to the
mark, I will have to cope up with all the formulations and will at times be able to bring about
new innovation and quality promotions in the organisation. This requires a potential and a
research that will have to be oriented to sharpen leadership skills.
Leadership Theory
The leadership as well as the management theories that are in due of maintaining the qualities of
a very good leader will have to be maintained. In this regard I will have to follow different
theories that will reflect upon the choices of being the best leader and can also imbibe all the
qualities that are required to be processed (Delanoy and Kasztelnik, 2020). The different theories
of leadership in this regard that will have to be followed by me include:
Great man Theory of leadership: the great man Theory of leadership will portray upon
circumstances which require leadership as the sole purpose and the personality traits are said to
be highlighted in this regard. Based on this theory of leadership it is more compelling aspect in
my regard where I will have to follow the basic simplicity that is to be reflected over the
decisions that I usually make. Businesses as well as the organisational leadership will usually
turn into a common platform where people will identify the goal and will work accordingly to
bring about the results that are oriented. My condition of leadership in this regard is to develop
the quality of motivation and I will also have to support the way I decide upon achieving the
goal. Also sharpening the thoughts as well as maintaining a pathway to guide the team to a level
of reaching the goal is also necessary to be implemented. This theory will reflect upon the skills
and limitations that will have to be considered and will also have to be taken care about while
dealing with the circumstances of the organisation.

Behavioural Theory of leadership: this particular theory of leadership will bring about the
different behaviours that will fall in regard to maintaining the leadership theories (Azad and et.al,
2017). Decision making process will have to be developed me at all the times being a part of
sales at regular intervals and in my opinion the decision-making strategy that I process is of
moderate basis and I will have to imbibe all the decision-making qualities that are a part of
variable measures. This can only be done upon a proper collaboration that is required in order to
bring about good leaders along with the simple born strategies. This in my regard will have to be
sharpened and the decision-making will have to be involved at all intervals of work.
Areas of Development
The effectiveness of leadership is portrayed by different personality traits as well as the
behavioural strategies that are being depicted by an individual. There are certain areas where I
will have to develop and these skills will help in bringing about the change. In order to maintain
the effectiveness of a leadership will first have to process all the qualities that are in regard to
being a leader. Certain qualities as well as the traits that are portrayed in this regard as follows:
Personality: in my point of you I will first have to develop the personality of being the best
leader and this personality will be reflected over the decisions I bring about in maintaining the
physical mental and social interactions (Willis and et.al, 2017). These qualities are necessary in
order to stand form with the decision-making criteria as well as the qualities that are reflected
over portraying the better means of communication as well as doing the good work that is
required for the organisation. In order to bring about a good effectiveness of leadership it is
necessary that first personality will have to be developed. I will first have to focus upon bringing
about all the physical and mental abilities to sum up with the successive that are oriented.
Human skills: human skills are nothing but interpersonal skills that a person processes. It is also
required that the interpersonal skills will have to be sharp and at all times and this must also
reflect upon the feelings and emotions that a person usually carry. In this regard my interpersonal
skills are up to the mark yet I will have to develop the areas where I need to control my feelings
and emotions upon dealing with team and the work. It is also necessary that the human skills will
act as a barrier towards growth and therefore I will have to look after all the solutions that are
required to lift up the feelings and emotions.
Communication skills: communication skills are mandatory while dealing with an organisation
and working for change management (Hallinger and Kovačević, 2021). Being a leader, I will

have to develop the communication skills such that I can maintain proper communication
between the employees as well as the team. It is necessary that the communication skills will
properly have to be and have such that an understanding can be maintained with regard to
companies orientation. Effectiveness of leadership is portrayed by how far the communication
skill is maintained. Therefore communication skills are all time manageable entities and the
company's focus is entirely upon them. I will have to develop effective communication skills to
maintain the effectiveness of leadership qualities.
Administrative skills: Administrative skills are regarded to be one of the important formulations
that will have to be inhibited while dealing with the kind of tactics that are maintained in the
organisation. In this regard I have a small acknowledgement in maintaining administrative skills
where I lack the basic principles that are important to be maintained. One may not be able to
identify the regulations that are in regard to maintaining the administrative skills and that can
only be possible if they are sharpened.
Process of enhancement
The action plan in regard to maintaining the leadership qualities will include those of the
following categories:
Objectives: first of all it is mandatory that I will have to move ahead in identifying the voids such
that those particular white can therefore be gratified with the right amount of knowledge that I
will have to gain. This process of an identification will have to be followed by the different
stages that are incorporated in bringing about the results. Identification will also result upon
other kind of plan that will have to be incorporated in making strategies come true (Gümüş and
et.al, 2020).
Execution of qualities: planning is the most important criteria and all the components that are
identified in the prior factor will therefore have to be implemented. In order to get implemented a
plan will have to be there such that all the constituted products as well as the factors that are in
regard to maintaining the subtle qualities of leadership can therefore be sharpened. It is also
necessary that when a certain plan is made that will have to be followed and the daily tasks will
have to be amended and will have to be identified that that that will not be turned as a burden on
long run.
Implementation of objectives: Through implementation I will have to planning as well as a
qualified workforce is known and the qualities of leadership are incorporated than the

implementation process will have to be started. Implementation will also have to carry forward
all the ideologies because it is not until when all the leadership qualities are inculcated in the
person that they get to reflect upon the choices that will have to be derived (Bellibaş and Gümüş,
2019).
How to process objectives: I will have to be oriented with the implementation process. The
processing is the criteria where the reflected ideologies are process with regard to other team
work or the guiding principles in the organisation. This is necessary because in order to
implement the choices as well as to develop the leadership qualities that will have to be a proper
enhancement and that can only be possible with the right amount of knowledge and the
implementation as well as processing nature.
CONCLUSION
The entire report concludes upon highlighting the aspect of a reflection towards leadership
qualities. Through this report one can easily understand the prominence of leadership as well as
the kind of ideologies and perspectives that are being enhanced with leadership qualities. The
complexities in leadership are determined in this report along with the process orientation which
is portrayed upon personality and determination of different qualities. The process of interaction
is also duly represented where the social interaction is being highlighted. A leadership Theory is
also explain with the different types of leadership theories that will help to understand the
formulations of leadership Theory. Great man Theory of leadership will reflect upon the
compelling aspects that fall in regard to maintaining a business strategy and which is necessary
to orient people in a teamwork. The Behavioural Theory of leadership is also processed with the
decision making capabilities that are a part of deriving the variable measures which are necessary
to be identified upon. The report also explains about the qualities are necessary in order to stand
form with the decision-making criteria as well as the qualities that are reflected over portraying
the better means of communication as well as doing the good work that is required for the
organisation.
